applying to a professional animation studio for the first time! im so excited because its a studio that was at the top of my list!

#am nervous tho #apparently the studios a good place for a beginners #hopefully it works out!

this semester we’ve started working on our final projects, and the group i’m in is gonna be making a game! i’m really excited since it’ll be the first time i’m doing something like this. i’ve been given the roles of character designer and animator where i’ll be doing the 2d character sprites (we’re doing a 2d/3d hybrid game)

#update lol #anyway im really excited wanna finish uni with something awesome #most likely gonna be doing illustrated characters but we might test out pixels for oveworld sprites

this is mainly just for future reference but would anyone be interested in reading a document of my thought processes for animation? im thinking of doing it anyway so i can better understand my own decisions, but it would be an interesting read for those interested in animation, or those who are just like reading on how a creator makes things

oh man back at uni again and today was the first day of my bachelors course for animation! ngl im rather excited, gonna learn a bunch of new skills like rigging and modelling, and of course building on my animation skills!

#update ig since as the course goes on i might now be able to post much? gotta focus on uni as a priority #also first day and we already had technical issues with the course site not updating and not being able to access zoom links dsjsjd #rambles #first week is online bc of the lockdown but hopefully next week it'll be back on campus! cant wait to meet new ppl
