i know people like to rag on taylor about her feminism stuff during 1989 but i will say that i think her directly and specifically calling out that the pushback she received for writing about her life was sexist, and that men write about hook-ups and exes and girlfriends all the time and get no pushback for it actually made things easier for a lot of women who have followed her path
