Los Angeles for Bernie Sanders Information
“After the New York primary, which I would categorize more as a steal than a loss, the campaign has moved on to California, the state with the most delegates. I have read that if we win the remaining contests by 65% each, Bernie can win. So let's keep fighting, people.
The Sanders campaign opened their Los Angeles headquarters last night, and over 400 people turned out. (Watch KABC News story here) Last night and in a statewide call last week with volunteers, state Field Director Josh Phillips talked about what the campaign is looking for now. They are looking for voter registration captains, canvass captains, phone bank captains, data entry people, volunteer recruitment specialists, office coordinators, text for Bernie captains and constituency captains. If you signed up to volunteer on Bernie's website, they should be emailing you about these needs. And our volunteer callers will be reaching out to you by phone, if you gave us a phone number, or by email to get your phone number, so we can explain it more fully to you.
Last night at the office opening, they did a training in how to canvass and there were sign up sheets for many trainings and events. I would encourage everyone who can get to the office to pay a visit. The address is 5500 Hollywood Boulevard. It is at the southwest corner of Hollywood and Western, and there is a Metro station across the street.
