This Image is from my first batch previously being sewn up. Now with my second batch of scarfs on order from the Silk Bureau in Evesham, I’m currently keeping myself busy catching up with all my Fe Fi Fo tasks before I return back to the machine sewing up new orders, and prepping scarfs for future craft fairs. The first of which being the Quartermasters Autumn fair on the 2nd of September at 1000 Trades, it will be my second partake of the Quartermasters events and I’m looking forward to catching up with familiar and new faces at the event, visitors that come along are always so friendly and interested in the independent crafts we all do. Sunday 21st August I took part in a very special Tea party which was put on by Contact the Elderly at the Steetly Methodist church, CTE do wonders for the local community empowering their members to get out and socialise where it might not have been possible before, and in turn have a go at therapeutic activities which will uplift the spirit and engage the mind. The ladies and gents all seemed to have a superb time! Enjoying the live music by the very talented Kitten von meow and delicious food and cakes baked by the team, and I was so pleased to be able to teach members a trick or two using my Fe Fi Fo designed lino stamps and ink pads to create greetings cards for loved ones. I might even be doing future group activities with members at local home visit meet ups. :) Felt great to help and be a part of putting such smiles on so many faces, thank you to Sutton Coldfield’s Contact the Elderly team and my friend Stacey for inviting me to get involved.

This is a vector image I whipped up to place on the printing screen for my demonstration at Cadbury College. Thought I’d put it into repeat and use it as part of my challenge. I can imagine this design looking fantastic on a women’s bedding range as a repeat or placement.
