one of the things i love about one piece is almost every character in the series has cried. tears of joy, of grief, of relief, of empathy. franky’s whole bit is that everytime someone tells him a sad story (or even a happy one) he cries because he’s overcome with emotion for them. the strongest characters in the story have cried & it’s never seen as a weakness, it’s a part of being human
