Bidane sighed a bit as she patrolled the jungle territory surrounding the Jade Fortress Egg Base, her Chromatic Pulse Rifle slung over her shoulder. She always did like getting to go on patrol, just taking in the sights of the jungle. And although it wasn’t exactly silent, it was a lot more pleasant to listen to sometimes.

An unexpected noise caused one of her ears to twitch, and she stopped in place, quickly readying her weapon.

Eve being from a jungle area, was pretty agile and in her environment. She hung from a vine and noticed the other walking around. 

She had to wonder what she was doing here, so obviously, the thief decided to follow her. Eve herself, was treasure hunting of course. The binturong had accidently stepped onto a branch when she landed from the vine, which alerted her presence. She noticed the weapon being readied, and decided to run around to the back of the other, still hidden in the bushes, she threw a rock at her.

Starter for @feistythief-vigilante​

“Oh please, put that silly thing away, we both know your not going to use it!” If there was something that the demon-hog had a distaste for, it was weaponry. Especially when it was at aimed at him in one of his own little hideaway spots! Maybe they also lived nearby? Dan didn’t know or care if they did as he certainly wasn’t about to be threatened or potentially stolen from.

“Take a hard look, do you really think there’s anything of value here? So you can either lower your weapon and be welcome to join me at the fire.” Briefly motioning at the campfire that was currently releasing various crackles and sizzles as it appeared like some bacon was currently being cooked over it. 

“Alternatively, you can pick the route of idiots and think I’m lying, try to pick a fight with me where you’ll be thrown in hospital shortly after......if I can be bothered to take you there afterwards.”

With his ultimatum given, the demon-hog would move on over to sit himself down next to the fire, azure eyes still gazing cautiously over at the stranger should they decide to go for the second option. He saw no reason to start a conflict if they were reasonable enough after all. “You could also walk away, but I doubt you’d turn around to waste a trip to get here in the first place.”

“So, What’s your pick?”

“I guess that’s a good point.” she said. “I mean you could always be a cool popular hero like the blue blur right?” she laughed a little, and that’s when she noticed out of the corner of her eye her shadow moving behind her. 

She almost jumped right out of her skin. “AH! OOH MY GOD!” she squealed and put a hand on her chest. She watched as it did a back flip and then looked down around her.  No shadow attached to her. “you know...this is...kinda creepy...can I have her back?” she asked being able to speak better now that her heart rate had gone down a little.
