Felicity isn’t quite sure how she feels about Nia right now. She thinks she’s a good person, and obviously has to be pretty amazing to catch Andie’s attention, but since she recently transitioned into being a vampire, a lot of change is coming her way and that will probably alter what Felicity thinks of her.

“Yes, please!” Felicity immediately responded. Her eyes glittered with absolute excitement at Kate’s offer, letting the princess guide her hand. Kate looked about ready to give birth any day now and Felicity couldn’t wait to greet the new Prince or Princess. She had every hope in the world that Kate would raise the child to be just like her and that the future of the kingdom would be endlessly bright. She didn’t think the current King and Queen were going anywhere soon, but maybe she might live to see the day Kate would be queen. “Does it hurt a lot?” she asked.

Katherine smiled at her reaction, Felicity was always so happy and bright, most of the Ackerman were like sunshine, and their happiness were always captivating. She gently grabbed Fliss hand placed on her belly, more to the left close to her ribs where the baby seemed to be aiming at the moment. “Some kicks hurt more than others, but is a good pain, it means that the baby is strong and healthy.” And that was all that matters, it didn’t took long for another the baby to kick almost at the exactly spot Fliss hand were, again it was a strong one, and she could hear her ribs breaking in the process, again.

Felicity’s attention was completely on Kate as she described the sensation, agreeing that it was probably a good thing that the kicks were so strong. Still, she flinched, a sympathetic look overtaking her face when she suddenly felt it, only able to imagine how much it must have hurt to leave Kate so winded. This was also why pregnancies were so dangerous for vampires. As much as she wanted a child for herself, she knew that it came with risks—one that her mother had taken and lost. “At least it’s almost over? Izzy couldn’t imagine being tied to one person for so long. She didn’t want to imagine, as it made her feel claustrophobic. She didn’t even have any family, but that was how she preferred it. To be independent, free. “Well, don’t you ever want to leave?” she asked curiously. “Like, isn’t there a part of you that just wants to say fuck everyone else and just go somewhere?” This was the longest Izzy had stayed in one place, and it didn’t even begin to compare to how long Felicity had been around in this city.

“A very, very small part,” Felicity confessed. She liked the idea of travelling and 100 years in the same place was getting boring, but her priorities were her family and so many things were happening right now. “I have a niece coming and there’s no way I’m not going to be here for her and my sister as she grows up. I can stay put for a few more decades,” she explained, giving a little shrug. “I mean, I have forever, pretty much.” Felicity hadn’t even completed a sixth of her potential lifespan so she had all the time in the world to leave later on if she ever felt the need to.

Katherine was walking around the city, she was tired, but still trying to do everything she could, this was going to be a strong winter and the slaves would need some extra supplies, so after some argument and protest, the guards left to take the supplies to the hive, leaving her alone for a few glorious minutes, however a little after they left Katherine felt an abrupt pain, enough to make her hold on whoever was passing by, so she wouldn’t fall on the ground, Jeremiah wasn’t joking when he said the baby kicking could easily break a few of her ribs, it was certainly painful, but a good one, it wouldn’t take much longer for the baby to arrive. “I’m sorry.” Katherine said composing herself again, and finally letting go of whoever she was holding on to.

Felicity had been approaching the princess to talk to her regardless so it was second nature to catch her when she reached out. “Don’t be,” was Felicity’s immediate answer to the Princess’ apology. There was a large smile on Felicity’s face as she stared down at the very present baby bump that seemed to be growing larger by the day. A small blush coated Felicity’s cheeks as she remembered the last time she had seen it. “Are you okay, Kate?” she asked, still holding on to make sure the princess was properly stable. “Do you need to go back to the palace?”

Pandora smirked, she certainly liked this girl, she hated answering questions, who she was, who was her family, what she did for living, most of the time she would just lie, but people were about to make the connection between her and Caspar soon enough, since he might not like her, but he wasn’t as terrible as he was with others.

She looked around the room, not bad, it was certainly better than what she was expecting. Pandora sat on a big chair they had, and she smirked at the girl. ‘I don’t normally give people this option, but I like you.” She said making herself more comfortable, letting her hair loose and removing the two blades that were keeping her hair in place. “You can choose up to two things you want me to use on you, and exclude four things.” She was pretty sure one of the things she was going to exclude were her blades, but it was fine, she had plenty of other things to use.

While it was wrong on so many levels, Felicity couldn’t help the erotic chill that ran through her when Pandora emphasized that options weren’t usually something she offered. The woman’s domineering personality was easy to read from the start and Felicity wasn’t afraid; she was thrilled. Her eyes went to the blades that were just teasingly in her hands and as tempting as it was to try, she had never done it before and Sean was the only person she was interested in trying something that extreme with. It seemed wrong to cheat him of that opportunity when she knew he would enjoy it so much more.

“No drawing blood,” Felicity stated, keeping that as a hard limit. “And I’m not a huge fan of pain altogether... but if I displease you, I will accept a punishment,” she explained. She approached the woman and cocked her head to the side, almost challengingly, “But I have no other limits, Miss.”

Ambriella didn’t know what to make of Sebastian’s sister, considering how open she was talking about him and how he and Ambriella had behaved at the ball. She assumed that Sebastian would find her, should he want her attention again, and she knew she’d give into him more than willingly. “I’m sorry if I made you worry,” Ambriella said honestly, her face filled with concern.

Felicity waved off Ambriella’s apology. “Like I said, it is not your fault. I’m actually thankful you were there to keep his mind off of everything for a night.” She smiled and turned around, stopping their walk. “If you say everything seemed fine, I will trust you. Thank you for chatting with me, I will see you around, Ambriella.”

Izzy nodded, not caring for modesty. She was, objectively, a great dancer and Caspar was lucky to have her as far as she was concerned. It was sad that a lot of people didn’t like reptiles, so it was nice to talk to someone who could appreciate them properly. “Oh, every single day,” she answered honestly. “I’ve never liked being in one place for too long but I actually like the people here, and my job, so… I’m undecided. Do you ever consider leaving the city? Or can you even do that, with all your responsibilities and shit?”

For all of Caspers many faults, the Fang wasn’t one of them and Felicity could understand why Izzy enjoyed it here. She enjoyed it herself, even if it wasn’t her workplace. When the question was directed at her, Felicity shrugged. “I could have left,” she shrugged. There was never anything restricting her ability to travel. She was the youngest daughter of the Duke of York, hardly important enough to have real responsibilities or worth, so travelling elsewhere was an option--she just chose not to. “I was with Andie for decades and couldn’t leave her or my family behind so I stayed, aside from a few trips here and there to the Duchy,” she explained. “And now I have Sean and my sister is having a baby so there’s even more keeping me here.”

Prue watched Felicity carefully, taking in the emotions on her ever-expressive face, and when Fliss turned to her, her eyes welling up, Prue just nodded, giving her a teary smile before she laughed, letting her sister bounce into her arms as they hugged. Prue let her hand come up to the back of her sister’s hair, holding her close and she tilted her head, pressing a kiss to Fliss’ temple.

She’d pretty much raised Felicity, she was hers, so it just…felt inevitable. She took one of Felicity’s hands to come between them, resting on her stomach. “My two girls.” She swayed them a bit on the couch before she pulled back, enough so she could wipe at Felicity’s face. “Just don’t tell anyone yet? I gotta tell dad. And Julian needs to tell his mother. But…I wanted you to be the first to know we’re having a daughter. So maybe you can throw a couple pink or purple flowers in her decor.”

Felicity’s heart was exploding and it left her speechless, able to do little more than listen to her sister and wipe away her messy tears. She was just so happy for her sister and couldn’t imagine how much of a dream come true this must have been for Prue if it was already this crazy for her. Still, she managed to shake it off and a large grin immediately reappeared on her face. “Will do, Captain.” There really wasn’t anything that Felicity wouldn’t do for her sister. No matter what happened in her life, that loyalty and love remained unwavering.

Juliet could understand what Felicity was trying to say, she knew Prudence was a pleaser, and she managed to push her around the first time they met, it would be harder to properly teach her with her son protecting her, but one thing vampires had was time.

“Still, I would prefer if you transmitted my words and my gift to her, I’m sure you will meet her first, so it is more convenient that way. I know she wants to learn and please me, but she’s her own person, she will be a different duchess the same way Princess Katherine won’t be the same queen as her mother, different can be good, and I think she’s a better fit for Katherine anyway. Besides, she doesn’t need a sign, she already belongs to this family. “

Felicity wasn’t super comfortable doing as the Duchess asked, still believing that all of this should be said and given in person, but she figured there was no changing the elder woman’s mind and at least this way she would save her sister from bursting into tears in front of the Duchess. “I will let her know then, thank you, your grace, on behalf of me and my sister.” She put the box into her purse, making a mental note to go visit her sister right after this.

“On the topic of Princess Katherine, I was wondering if you had any opinions on how long we should wait until after her wedding? Julian and Prudence haven’t settled on a date yet. I think Julian and Prudence’s wedding might have to take place after the birth of the baby depending on their schedule.”
