“it’s gross because it’s a question about whether she stuffed her bra. And no, I meant that if she does stuff her bra, it’s because she’s insecure and asking the question will just make things worse.”
“okay, am i being completely insane or has carly stuffed her bra today? they just look extra plump today. i’ll give you ten bucks if you go and ask her, twenty if you rip the tissue out.”
“okay, I’m into girls and even I find you gross. And why the hell would I ask? Either I’m asking an insecure girl a question about her insecurity or I just look like a creep - or both.”

“No, really?” Shyla scoffed sarcastically. She knew the entire time that middle school relationships weren’t built to last. They thought the other was cute and they’d been friends for awhile so they figured, sure, why not? It made sense at the time, but looking back she knew, if it hadn’t crashed and burned then it still would’ve eventually. “Yeah. We let her stay in our friend group for awhile, but she kinda faded into the back before all but disappearing on her own accord.” She nodded along in agreement, “That ‘rule’ is such bullshit. But I know what you mean. My best friend here just got together with one of his best friends. They’re disgustingly cute too.” True, dancing wasn’t a commitment, but she just couldn’t get over the fact that Berry had initiated it to begin with. It had given her hope. She sighed, “Yeah. I s’pose you’re right there.” She shot the girl a grin, finding it hilarious that the other didn’t approve of her word choice. “Eh, too late. That’s what I’m referring to you now. Your rejection has solidified that decision for me. But I’ll still be nice enough to ask; what would you prefer I call you? My name’s Shyla.”
Felicity rolled her eyes at the girl’s sarcasm although she couldn’t help but crack a small smile. “Well it sounds like she figured out that her attitude was shitty. Although I would’ve just straight-up told her that she was being a brat. You can’t assume people are into you, it’s so egotistical,” she spoke with a sigh. “It’s bullshit because there’s so many exceptions, but it’s right about half of the time so somehow, it’s still standing. Faulty logic if you ask me,” she shrugged. “Yeah, same with one of my friends - I have to hear all about it but at least it’s cute. Normally, I can’t stand people telling me every sappy detail of their relationship.” She groaned at the girl’s insistence, shaking her head. “You remind me of said friend. But thank you, I’m Felicity.”

“Thank you!”, Kitty smiled and kissed Haejoon’s head and the baby began to calm down. “Thank you so much. He’s been so fussy lately.”, she sighed. Kitty nodded. “Appa means father in Korean. Their dad is Korean so i’m trying to teach them Korean, English and Thai words.”, she smiled at Felicity. “They’re going to be such well rounded babies”
“Ah- sounds enriching,” Felicity nodded at the girl’s words, looking at the baby for a moment before turning her gaze back to the girl. “He’s cute though,” she smiled.

“Appa!” Haejoon cried out, throwing his vegetables on the floor. “Appa isn’t here right now.”, she said, trying to calm the fussy baby. “Shhhh. Its okay. Eat your peas, baby boy.”, she said, opening the pea pod for him and showing him the peas inside but he continued to cry. Kitty sighed and looked around. She spotted Hae’s pacifier attached to his stroller across the room. “Can you hand me that??”, she asked, looking up at the person by her.
“Uh- yeah, sure,” Felicity quickly retrieved the pacifier and handed it to the other girl. She wasn’t normally the type to do favours for others but she quickly disregarded that when the baby was involved - it reminded her of her little brother. “Who’s Appa?” she asked curiously, “His father?”
savvychoi:
“Sorry, sometimes I forget the world doesn’t revolve around me.”, she grinned. “So what do you like to do, Felicity?”
“It’s a good thing to remember,” she shrugged. “I’m big on politics so I read up on that, I’m captain of the debate team and editor-in-chief of the newspaper. What about you?”
savvychoi:
“You’re really going to slut shame me? I thought you were a libertarian.”, she said, looking Felicity up and down. “What happened to free will and all that shit?”
“I wasn’t referring to you,” she rolled her eyes. “Not everything’s about you, slut,” she said teasingly.
savvychoi:
Savannah shrugged. “I’ve known i’m going to hell for a while now, might as well have fun with my life.”, she grinned. “Its heavy sarcasm.”, she nodded. “So tell me about yourself, pretty lady.”
Felicity chuckled dryly, “Well that’s one way to think about it,” she shrugged. “What do you want to know? I won’t just give out any information, I have a reputation to upkeep, unlike some people.”
savvychoi:
“I plan to.”, she said with a shrug. “Oh yeah? I’m a catholic.”, she teased. She didn’t know much about politics, but she knew what a libertarian was. “She’s the best. Prime little sister.”
Felicity rolled her eyes at her response, “You don’t sound like a very good one,” she said sarcastically. “I can’t tell if you’re being serious or not.”
savvychoi:
“Is it wrong to dream about getting some from attractive people?”, she asked with raised brows. “Yep. I’m her older sister. I’m sure she’s had wonderful things to say, she always does.”
“It is a little bit. But do what you want, I’m pretty libertarian and I also just don’t give a shit,” she shook her head. “Oh- she does, doesn’t she? Just a ball of sunshine, that kid,” she joked.
savvychoi:
“I’m Savannah Choi. I just got here this semester from New Zealand and i’m also a senior. Looks like we have a lot in common”
“Perhaps. Although judging by the sounds of your birthday party we might not,” she shrugged. “Choi.. as in Sophia Choi? I heard she has a sister.”
savvychoi:
“Well you could always get to know me? Then for the next pity party you can choose the activity.”
“Well then, I’m Felicity Johnson and I’m a senior. Just got here this semester from Chicago. You?”
savvychoi:
“Yeah I did. I got drunk and made out with supermodels. It was a pretty great party. Sorry you couldn’t make it.”
“Don’t worry, no hard feelings. Considering I don’t know you, I wouldn’t expect to be invited. Besides, making out with random supermodels isn’t exactly my thing.”
savvychoi:
“As always, my birthday was uneventful and lonely. My mom didn’t even call me.”
“Well at least your threw your very own pity party.”

“I don’t see why everyone has to walk right through the garden! There is a perfectly good sidewalk not even two feet away, yet they have to step on all of the flowers. They didn’t ask to be stepped on, or for people to be late to class and take a two second shortcut.” He huffs, clearly irritated at yet another crumpled flower. “They’re just trying to live their life and give us something pretty to look at, you don’t step on them do you?”
“Huh?” Felicity looked up from her book, only half listening to the boy’s spiel. “It’s not like the flowers have feelings or preferences, people can walk wherever they please. It’s the ground, after all,” she said with a shrug.

“Well this whole new generation after us is about instant gratification and whining so. No stopping it now.” He shook his head with a sigh. “You need to rewatch that shit. I swear there’s nothing better than watching your old childhood shows - nah, I’m dating Addie. She does not demand compliments 24/7, I just bestow them upon her anyway.”
“You sound like an old man complaining about millennials,” she teased, laughing. “Sorry, but I’m definitely not the type of person who enjoys watching children’s television, I think you’re supposed to grow out of that form of entertainment after middle school,” she shrugged. “Ah- of course, I should’ve known. Careful, or she’ll start expecting them, you’ve got to start the puppy training early,” she joked.

“he’s a bit under the radar and he’s a junior. i know you seniors are very pretentious.” she teased. “which one do you want to get into the most?? i have a friend who’s whole high school career is built around going ivy league. so, i’ll tell him to not apply to that school. i don’t know if it’ll work, but i’ll try my best.” sophia chuckled. “ah, so you’re friends with the nerds??”
“I know, right? How dare you even suggest a junior to me,” she joked. “Nah, let him apply to whatever school, I like competition. I’m thinking Harvard - it keeps the most doors open for future careers,” she shrugged. “Eh- some nerds but I’d mainly just call them clever. Quick witted and all that.”
