Being found studying in any capacity might’ve been the least likely activity to find Felix in the middle of, but he was knee deep in making a new name for himself after all. The person chattering loudly with the barista however, had broken his concentration. Irritated, he tapped his pen, tried again and found no footing back into the works of Mary Shelley. He turned to shoot a glare behind him. Surely they’d get the point or he’d find comfort in the knowledge that someone else was just as annoyed as he was.

For the first time in a long time, he didn’t call for a ride. He just stumbled his way through town, leaning on buildings every now and again. Alcohol streamed through him, causing him to slur his words to anyone who passed by. And the weed had his muscles loose and relaxed. It was really the only way he could attempt to sleep anymore, the infusion of the two. However, as he stumbled on, he finally lost his balance and wound up sitting with his back to the wall, rubbing his face. When someone approached,  he held his hands up. “I’m fine, ’M fine…. Fucks sake, I just… No idea where the fucking wall went.”

The concern on Felix face grew into an entertained smirk. He’d been walking from the opposite direction and had thus been privy to the whole wall-to-wall waltz. “You just can’t trust a standing structure.” He said, shaking his head in agreement as he tried to pull a more serious facial expression back on.
