This has been asked a couple of times, so just to let you all know - yes, I'd love to see you make fanart of my OCs and OOCs alike! Just don't draw anything NSFW or suggestive with underage characters of mine (self explanatory!), my fursona (I'm asexual!) or Percival (canonically aroace!)
The new TOTTMNT comics fulfilled my long time desire to see Honeycutt in clothes because I think he deserves to feel more human and be confident in his identity 🙏 fanart of his hotel attire and nerd boy swagger I put him in myself... also I love his cartoony smile in the comics, but I hate to admit, I always though his "mouth" was actually his "nose" he's like Jack Skellington to me lol. Individuals and print credits under the cut
started following fandom artists i know fuckall about the characters they draw if i like their artstyle and its beautiful. i dont know who the hell that robot man youre drawing is but i do agree that the tasteful boob window sweater looks great on him. excellent work ill never leave your side
I'm actually drawing my favourite robot man in a west, shorts, and top rn, BUT if you ask nicely...might consider putting him in a boob window sweater too
Don't worry guys - I already discussed TADC leaks in private and won't post about it until the episode's official release...instead, I'm gonna
Geek out over "Fugitoid Frenzy" #3: a review | SPOILER WARNING
note: this one is a lot less structured then the previous ones so you'll just have to bare with me
In short - I liked it! A lot! But, as always, I'm gonna talk a bit about things that bugged me first:
• It's nice to see the two talk their feelings through, but I genuinely don't get what Zayton's apologizing for here?...
• As promised, this issue did answer some questions I had before - which is great, don't get me wrong - but now I have some new ones. Honeycutt doesn't want to put his family in danger (makes sense) and went into hiding in a robot hotel (again, makes sense) but Zog is there too I guess?...Did everyone just assume he's a mutant so he gets to have a job too? Does everyone think he's a dinosaur animatronic and that's why he's at the robot hotel? Even the investigator April's talking to is more concerned about the existence of a robot with human consciousness than the unadressed triceratops in the room
Speaking of the robot hotel!
I'm so glad Zayton got a happy ending he deserved! Not gonna lie, I was fully ready to cry a river because of that TMNT 2003 vagueposting by the comic's writer AND all the possible outcomes of the situation me and friends made up in our DMs...we were so scared and cynical we forgot that "robot jobs" can actually be wholesome 😭
Anyway! Onto more things I enjoyed:
• OMG METALHEAD CAMEO I was so glad to see him, I wish he got a chance to fight alongside Honeycutt but it's ok
• Thank you Louie Joyce for giving us skater boy Zayton I didn't know I even needed it but now I know I do
• Some really nice references on the background of that page too, like "Mirage Dogs" and "Chet's toy store" (iykyk)
• That part where General Blanque says "You couldn't just follow simple directions. How very human of you" is SO good
• I already said that before, but I'll say it again - that ending was really wholesome! I'm sure nothing bad will happen to Honeycutt again and he won't be kidnapped again by some other villain/delusional
Genuinely my honest reaction this morning MY GUUUUUYYYYY
Final score for the whole comic: 10/10 (with multiple bonus points just because it greatly improved my mood) thank god my copy is FINALLY arriving soon (yes. the issue four. yes only now. i know how insane it must sound to my american followers 😭)
your arts with cyberfarm is so peak! thank you for sharing it! ✨💖❤👀
Aw thanks! I'm no longer in this fandom really, but I have one unfinished Cyberfarm fanart, and your love and support of my stuff gave me an inspiration boost to finish it sometime soon!
I don't know why Tumblr audience is suddenly bigoted towards a specific group of people so here's your reminder that if you're anti transmasculinity or transandrophobic you are not welcome on my blog because I'm a cis ally
lonely together 💫 phm fanart because i'm obsessed with that movie
It was a masterpiece about hope. A movie where the ends justify the means, where heroes are not born but made, where true friendship can sprout and thrive. Truly a miracle. Hail Mary.
I literally made my whole family and friendzone watch it and I'll do it AGAIN. Close up under the cut
"Tune In" was the first ever family friendly series made by humans and monsters together. It was an eductional/entertainment magazine with weekly updates, created to casually indocrinate families (especially the older demographic) into being more open minded and accepting of different species. It was later made into a franchise with a cafe chain (but that didn't last long)
Obviously, decades later, after the interspecies peace treaty was over, the IP owners from both sides have gone their separate ways. The humans closed the cafeterias, but still publish the magazine. The monsters kept both the cafeteria and the publishing, but completely changed the franchise's main mascot, Comet the Cat - to avoid copyright and associations with a mischievous shapeshifter impersonating Comet.
I know that this may seem like some unreasonably overcomplicated worldbuilding detail to an outside eye, but, as the comic's writer, trust me when I say that:
The key difference between monsters and changelings who impersonate them is that the latter have more humanoid build and size compared to the real thing - here's a visual demonstration of what I mean feat. ✨fur of modesty✨ because half of these characters are underage and while the other half are adults I just didn't wanna bother anyway I'm a SFW artist you know huge emphasis on SFW part be normal about this or else-
also if you've seen this exact image before but with slightly different designs - congratulations on stumbling upon my outdated concept art
Sadly I have to admit that since I've made this I lost my connection to the character (the Jax glazing really got to me) and with the fandom's controversy I no longer want to be that strongly associated with it. Thanks for all the compliments and fanart I got of this gal, but I will no longer use it...probably will redesign her into some other character though!
Does The Den go through the classic Rockstar journey where they break up a dozen times and experience tragedies? Or is their story different?
SURPRISINGLY... they all work really well together, especially Abby, Les, and Carlisle (childhood friends from Detroit). They know eachother's idiosyncrasies and shortcomings and... *quirks*
The other members (who I still need to make refs for) aren't as close but not as bothered as you may think when things get difficult :)
They end up playing a fairly steady career together since they're not like a superband or anything. They have decent recognition, but not enough to drive them all to the brink of madness and rip them apart <3
