Our books are expected to ship to us this week! 💥💥 Once they arrive (which could be a couple weeks after they’re shipped, as they’re shipped by sea) we’ll have all zine items ready to go and will prep for shipping out to you all. 💚 PRODUCTION UPDATES 🧡

We're back with another interim update on production! Now that the lunar new year break is over, our final merch items are wrapping up and we're making progress on our books!

As you saw previously, our bandana sample is approved and it is now in production post-LNY. The factory is a bit backed up, but we're hoping those will be done in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, our scrunchies are complete and have been shipped to Mod Nielle!! Look at all those scrunchies!

Mod Miniyuna is still working hard on our zines to make up for the time we lost when we unfortunately lost our original formatting mod. The PDF is absolutely beautiful and will be reviewed by our contributors shortly for any needed revisions before being sent to our manufacturer as soon as possible! We again apologize for the extra delays caused by this bit of bad luck, and thank you for your patience as we format the beautiful contributions with the care they deserve!

Once our bandanas are shipped, all merch will have been sent to us and we will only be waiting on production of our books! We'll be sure to keep you all updated, and let you all know when we have a closer look at our book sample. Happy international women's month!

💚 PRODUCTION UPDATES 🧡

Thank you for your patience! While it took a bit to get you this update, production has not been idle, and we have almost all of our items currently in production or already shipped to us! Let’s break it down by item.

Acrylics, stickers, and prints are all already done with production and currently being shipped by sea to our shipping mod, which we expect to take another 10-30 days. Once those arrive we’ll make sure to share photos with you all! Scrunchies have been ordered and paid for and are currently in production. We expect a few more weeks in production and then they’ll be shipped. Bandanas are currently being ordered, though we experienced some delays getting our order in and getting our proofs made due to the holidays. We want to make sure the quality is top notch before committing. Those should be fully in by the end of the week assuming no further delays and we expect a relatively quick production time. Currently our slowest item is our books, which are still in the formatting process. Formatting was initially delayed due to our formatting mod, Mod Bel’s, illness and some technical difficulties, but we hope to see significant progress soon as we are waiting on an update. We have already discussed logistics with our printer and are ready to place the order immediately after formatting and revising are complete. Thank you for your patience and we’re excited so much has been moving so quickly! 💚 PRODUCTION UPDATES 🧡

We’re back! Thank you for your patience. We’ve got a HUGE update this time with pictures! Many things are ready, and we’ve smoothed a few wrinkles along the way. All of our acrylics and stickers have already made it to our shipping mod & they look great!

Our prints have come in and they’re nice and vibrant! Same with our sticker sheets and stickers. You can get a glimpse at the sand glitter on those stretch goal stickers!

We’ve also got our acrylics! Everything has come out great. Look at that standee spin! Continuing on with even more stickers and our photocards! Aren't they gorgeous?

Now onto our remaining items. It is currently Lunar New Year, so any items that were not shipped to us yet or still in production were paused for the holiday break. This includes our scrunchies, which are nearly ready to be shipped. This also includes our satin bandanas. For those, we have approved the manufacturer sample (shown) and they’re ready to be produced right after the break!

Onto our books. Unfortunately, we have had to part ways with our original formatter, Bel/Momo. While formatting was well under way, they told us that they needed some extra time due to illness, which we were happy to grant. Unfortunately, we have not been able to get ahold of them in the months since. While we are very sad to lose Bel from our team and sincerely hope that their absence is not indicative of anything serious, we do not want to keep you all or our contributors waiting for longer than you have already had to. Luckily, our art mod Miniyuna has experience formatting for zines and has quickly taken over the role! Formatting is nearly ready for review and we will be submitting the file to our printers once the zine has been looked over by our contributors. As we had already planned to be delayed by Lunar New Year, this has not slowed us down too much longer than we already expected. Thank you for your patience as we make up for lost time and we hope to see Bel return to online spaces soon.

Overall, everything except books has been ordered/has arrived! Formatting is now going smoothly and we hope to order book samples soon. Happy lunar new year and thank you!

Hello,

I bought my wife the zine pdf in early November as a gift for Christmas. I saw that there was something about the link being sent out when the physical stuff starts getting shipped as well. Do you have a definitive date for that? I only ordered the pdf, and I didn't think it would be sent out so much later. Its no big deal that it is, but since it missed the mark I wanted it for, Im getting anxious waiting to recieve the email.

Also, I hope this doesn't come off as rude, as I am genuinely curious- why did you decide to only send the link once the physical merchandise started shipping?

Thank you for your support, and we’re honored you chose our project as a gift for your wife!

Unfortunately, yes, as listed in the digital product description, there will be a delay on releasing digital products until physical products ship. This is typical protocol for zine projects like ours and is in large part to protect the intellectual property before the official release of the product to the majority of our customers. It is also because our formatter, Bel, is still working on formatting the zine currently, as we order our other merch items. This means that the PDF is not ready yet. Bel has been a bit delayed by illness and now by the holidays, but we do hope formatting will be progressing significantly soon. Unlike professional products, our project is run by a small team of volunteers, so these steps take a bit longer. We will release our first major production update shortly into the new year, but the majority of our merch has actually already been ordered and has been shipped to us!
