i believe that dressing in any way that takes away time that you’d rather spend doing sometring else or health than it is detrimental. even women’s hat like to dress up fancy or do makeup should question why they like it. i thought i liked makeup until i looked harder and realized it was a way for me to try to distract others from my insecurities or to try to make myself more “unique”

behavior is what’s really detrimental though, even the most non conforming woman is harmful to fighting sexism if she still bows to men’s me the patriarchy. part of feminism is allowing women to take up the same amount of space men do and that includes making out opinions heard and standing by them, even if it makes men upset
