Growing food is such a meditation. It takes time, mistakes, patience and a true humility. One of our #postcovid19 projects is to guide 500 women and LGBTQ+ folks in the art and craft of growing food in the spaces that they live and work in. We tested this idea over the last month by asking the women around Kigowa's centers what would make their day to day lives easier. Many said that easier access to food would be a game changer! Each woman in this project will receive 10 stong plants comprised of vegetables, flowers and beneficial herbs. We only have 100 spaces for applications online received, so send us a line at [email protected] if you would love to be part of this(and why). We have some conditions however. You have to be ready to garden. You have to be committed enough to keep track of your plants in your plant diary. You will also have to share any progress with us so that we can know how to grow and serve you better. #FeministUtopia2020 #Food #Foodispolitical #dignifiedsurvival #COVID19 https://www.instagram.com/p/CC_Qo-XH246/?igshid=1dz18f96fp2l5
