Thank you! My boyfriend ordered it I believe from a customise your own mug shop online. The woman is Christine de Pizan, the proto-feminist medieval writer I did my dissertation on. She has been re-gaining popularity recently but back when I did my diss hardly anyone had heard of her, but I hope there’s some merch of her out there now lmao

Very annoying that people on the internet ruined the beauty of the random summer snack plate by attributing gender essentialism and diet culture to it so just a reminder that being in the mood to eat lots of ready to eat random sweet and savoury morsels instead of cooking transcends the history of the internet and probably even ideas about gender.

Vine ripened tomatoes coated in olive oil, a clove of garlic, salt and pepper, smoked salmon, a portion of brie, ripe cherries and a soft slightly salted pretzel bread. Going to eat more cheese and cherries in a second :)
