A Refined Touch
My dear Friends and Followers,
When I first started this blog years ago, I was at an inflection point in my life. I realised that by playing it nice, keeping to the values of my upbringing would not bring me any further and worse, detached me from what my intuition was telling me would be my true destiny. I saw and still see how women get crushed by societal expectations, by their trained desire to please and put themselves last whatever may be. Feminism hasn´t changed these dynamics as much as could otherwise be conceded. I only knew, I wouldn´t want to end up being one of these women, married to an infidel man, living the life as a textbook copy of someone else´s dream. I was hence only beginning to grasp my whole inner empire of sensuality, sexuality and what it actually means for me to grow as a woman. One has to have made some crucial and deeply challenging experiences in life as to arrive at such a point as a woman. Most are well in their 30s at that time and so was I.
What started as a means to help me visualise my inner worlds, conceptualise them and then project them into the real world gradually changing the world I inhabit - a visual board if one so will, gradually evolved and grew into something different entirely.
I am now at 41 a completely different person I used to be when I first started this blog.
My blog now, and has been for quite some time, is a stream of consciousness. I don´t take much consideration into what I am to blog or better, re-blog, it just resonates with what I am and what I desire to express to the outer world without saying a word. One who can read my blog correclty, intepretative, knows me perhaps better than someone seeing and talking to me every day. I am a private person and this blog is the most intimate confession I ever made public.
As a stream of consciousness, the blog grew into a work of art. It is now a gigantic collage of the life, the inner life and public life, of a woman who is a solitary character in this world of meagre copies.
To my deepest regret, the regressive and prudish nature of US corporate policy drove this work of art into obscurity. Tumblr saw fit, to rather censor nipples than actually working against the true evils of our time which are numerous and among which are puritanism, reactionary thinking and an increasing hostility against anything subtle, cultured and well-mannered. A hostility against all that is great about the old European civilisation.
I have thus made decision to turn the page and to start a new blow, marking the ending of a phase in my life that is this blog whilst marking also the beginning of a whole new chapter.
Followers and Friends dearest, I shall not presume you will read this anytime soon, but if you so do, please consider moving on with me. I would love to see you following me on my new blog:
