Final Jobs
Artist Statement
Regarding the final assignment, I personally felt that the first programming was not complicated enough, so I added a video.
1.Ā Through contact with P5, and initial learning and understanding, I found that I was interested in programming, so my first assignment was done with P5. But because the current research and practice is still too small, I need to spend more time, so by trying, I still can't make the 3D effect I tried to achieve, so I ended up using P5. The final result of the completion looks like a recombination of two molecules encountered together, using the constant motion of the function curve to form the graph. I enhanced the contrast between the lines and the background and made the lines more compact, making the graphics look closer to stereo. Still very interesting.
2.Ā The second assignment I added is based on previous software that I have studied in China, and then I will study, research, and gain insight into the work. It is the same as the three series of personality that I have sent before. This work is also about finding my own themes. For my personal reasons, there may be a period of confusion and anxiety for a long time, but with some efforts and the help of my friends, I came out, so I have the idea of doing this series of works. This is a 3D animation work. The main line and the storyline are also my own ideas. The protagonist can be either me or any audience who sees the work. The same is the use of film production steps, I have done it myself from script writing to scripting to designing the mirror to formal production. At the same time, I used a lot of lens language (lens movement, transition, etc.)and light effects to set the theme and create an atmosphere.
In addition, it also reflects the social media aesthetics. Through the media works, I show a situation of many people nowadays. It can be said that it is a social phenomenon, and the essence can be seen through the work and cause some reflection and reflection.

Social Media Aesthetics in an Age of Trolls
1. Times Square Arts Projects - Midnight Moment āPortraits in Landscapeā by Carla Gannis
This video animation that exemplifies Carla Gannisās signature process of remixing historical artworks with contemporary forms of communication, taking smartphone and selfie culture to the extreme.ļ¼1ļ¼
It can be heard from its background music, much like the music effect of our smartphone ringtones, and it has a strong sense of substitution. The vivid image shows the modernity and sense of science and technology, which makes people's eyes shine and is worth thinking about.

2. Tender: A piece of meat swipes right on Tinder forever
http://pilerats.com/news/a-piece-of-meat-swipes-right-on-tinder-forever/
This is a piece of installation art that uses a piece of meat attached to the Tinder to continually slide over the velvet to switch between different people. First of all, I think this idea is very interesting and special. What can be seen is that the Target group in the setting is all women, and from another perspective, this device is aimed at men. Although I am not sure, but my personal opinion is to satirize some of the current social dating media, but also reflects the bad social phenomenon.
3. Social Media in Contemporary Art -Ā We Feel Fine- Jonathan Harris, online project- 2005
https://blog.artsper.com/en/lifestyle/social-media-todays-art/
In my opinion, the origin of social media comes from emotions. Because people have emotions, they will have various needs, and various forms of social media will appear to serve humanity.
Since 2005, artist Jonathan Harris has been extracting human emotion catalogues from online blogs, and through the system search the world publishes terms with "I feel".
The project was built into a powerful database, like the curve in the picture above, with a lot of lines scattered from one point. Among them, the point that can be clearly seen is the point of convergence of some people's emotions. This is a Very healing social media art form, telling people in different parts of the world that people are as empathetic as you, and that can make our online social media environment change. Be more active.
Experiments for an online vedio
This is a story. I made a beginning and an ending based on my own script, telling the story of a female character with a triple personality. This style is very different from my previous style. This is a dark series, I have always wanted to try the style. In the future, I will continue to create and improve the whole. The middle content of this small movie will be left to different audiences to conceive and imagine.

https://youtu.be/u0RawsgOGGI
Let me first talk about the deeper concepts of creating it. I think everyone has their own personality because we live in the world and in society. Most of the time, we can't be ourselves. We can't do what we want. In the origin of human nature, everyone has different faces in different situations, but in many cases they are hidden. My protagonist is actually created by myself. She has three personalities. The main concept is to encourage people not to lose themselves, to find their own personality and true self, but I use dark style, ironic techniques, this expression. Second, the two are from scripting to organizational layout to shooting, all of which are step by step.

Tacital Media
First of all, I want to talk about the tactical media I understand.
In my opinion, due to the development of media communication, the frequency and frequency of the use of media by the public is getting higher and higher, so it is accompanied by many information leaks and network dangers. The emergence of tactical media is to help solve these problems. It is often used in network systems, state agencies, and even war. It uses media technology to identify and track dangerous signals, alert people, and give control of information protection to the public.
Here are the relevant theories and representative arguments I have found.
1. The Concept of Tactical Media
ā Tactical Media was a movement that combined art, experimental media and political activism. āļ¼2017ļ¼
That is to say, tactical media is free and unconstrained, because it is constantly re-rendered in practice, so it has never had a fixed definition. The artist combines experimental media, art and politics to create the concept of tactical media.
It is a medium of crisis, unknown, opposition, extreme criticism, and has its own power. In the context of national regulation, tactical media can be used to control and service digital network technology groups assigned to individual enterprises to ensure a gesture of suppressing undesirable phenomena.

2.art and activism, hacking
http://digicult.it/news/the-art-of-hacking/
In September 2012, at the Dutch Academy of Media Arts, a performance called Time Error was performed. From the perspective of women, performers sister0, Ko66 and Netwurker_Mez use sound, literature, performance and real-time code to explore the mysteries of computers by breaking through imperfect loopholes.ļ¼2012ļ¼
Although creative hackers can use technology to solve certain vulnerabilities in media works and network environments, real hacking is also a complex ethic, unlike people's imagination.
From another perspective, through the works of these related artists, we can understand the many angles and methods of hacking, to facilitate more technical personnel to protect the relevant networks, conduct technical investigations and research, and warn the public.

Zevs-The famous French street artist, originally he 'bombed' models on the billboards between the eyes, although it caused a lot of discussion at the time, but in the end its series of works went from the street to the museum for display, but also formed an artistic style. .
Later, he began to create "Electric Shadows" effects on the streets of Paris, forming a dynamic feeling of static works. Later, In 2002, a huge Lavazza poster model was cut and called for visual abductions to be paid. His move provoked politicians. Resonance, since then, once a brand on a billboard is in consumer demand to abduct the public's attention, it needs to pay a certain amount of money.
His actions visually disrupted the identifiable trademarks, weakened the visual power of the trademarks, and critically attacked many big brands. It was a representative of a good art flow and also highlighted its uniqueness.

Experiments for Net Art&Code Art
For a while, I really like Coca-Cola's color scheme and his series of products. So I used a light and Coca-Cola bottle to record a video tuberculosis. I learned the code art. I added the special effects to the previously recorded video.
Net Art&Code Art
1. Artie Vierkant-Image Objects
--When I saw the first sight of the work, I felt that it was very delicate and very modern. It was suitable for making a display in a comfortable space such as a home or a concert hall. At the same time, it expresses a kind of expression technique of code art, which is very scientific.
--This is a work that creates a three-dimensional effect by printing an image and changing its color. For the audience, this work responds to contemporary art and creates a sense of shadow that gives a visual shock. And it spreads the unique expression of digital media.

2. Lia ā Re-move.org
--At first I was attracted by this set of abstract three-dimensional structures, which presented a strong sense of space in an abstract and thin form.
--This network art allows users to manipulate a series of audiovisual works in an abstract and thin form. The idea is that computers are not art tools, but they are formed by combining abstract concepts with randomness and repetitiveness. In my opinion, this is a regular free arrangement with a sense of programming art.
https://anthology.rhizome.org/re-move
3. ALEKSANDRA DOMANOVIÄ-Grobari
--This "paper stacks" works is very interesting. It seems that it is a whole. In fact, it is a combination of many sheets of paper, and the idea is unique.
--Globari is an early example of this series of works. It looks like a smog after the paper has been burnt, but it is actually talking about the soot that a extremist fan organization has in conflict in Yugoslavia. Although the meaning behind this work is not so good, it represents a monument to a country that no longer exists, and it is worth pondering.

Experiments for Post-Digital Art
Through the understanding and study of this series of works of art, I found that by recombining the original appearance and form of the object, I can get some regular or irregular works. My practice is a series of works that combine the three art forms I have chosen. I hope that I can study this part in depth and make more good works.
These four pictures are all my photography. The first picture is the shadow of my own half face. This is what I accidentally photographed at sunset. I felt very good at that time, and then I made it some design in software.
Post-Digital Art
1. Error/Glitch Aesthetics
--The reason I choose Error/Glitch Aesthetics is mainly because I don't know the existence of this art form before, and I am very curious about it, and secondly because it is unique to contemporary art.
--ThisĀ word was changed from an initial description of voltage changes and interference in television pictures to an art form, used in electronic music, games, web pages, etc. Therefore, under the changing aesthetic habits, it also have a variety of combinations.A glitch is an inevitable outcome of human activity. No matter what you do, there is a possibility of failure. TheĀ Error/Glitch Aesthetics is that when humans continue to improve, people find that if they do not solve this mistake, new beautiful aesthetic works are developed and sustained. In my opinion, art is inclusive. It should not be constant, consistent with the most traditional and common aesthetic levels, but should be adapted to seemingly strange, illusory and unexpected gains in human and social learningćcreate. So Error/Glitch Aesthetics is very novel to me. I like the beauty of this unexpected harvest. It has given me a new understanding of the creativity of art and inspired me.

Tree Shake by LaTurbo Avedon.
2. Pixel Sorting
--When I saw a series of pixel-sorted works, I felt that it had a regular re-combination of art, and I found that something that was re-arranged in different ways would surprise people.
--In the current digital age, pixel works are active in display devices such as computers, games, mobile media, and even interactive terminals. Its production was originally due to the low resolution of the display, resulting in insufficient clarity of the output image. Today, when the quality of the equipment we use is high enough, many artists will deliberately create a sense of pixelism. In general, it is the feeling of mosaic, to make the work more special, more design, and more three-dimensional. My personal feeling is that it gives a static image to the dynamic sense.

3. Using Audacity to Data Bend Images
--The reason I like it is that it looks very retro, and there is a feeling of watching black and white TV when I was young. At the same time, it also follows the retro trend of the current pursuit, reflecting that art is also recurrent, there will be no art that is always outdated.
--First of all, as I mentioned in the reasons for selection, in recent years, there has been a trend of retro-retrospection in the art field. When updating to a certain time, people will miss some art forms that have been there. So this style is a combination of retro style and dynamic special effects technology to create a curved image of the data. At the same time, it will have a dynamic sense of its own rhythm, very magical and very attractive.
