Abby sighed and bit her lip. She came over and placed her hand against his side. "I'm not... supposed to... do this, but..." She concentrated, feeling both of his heartbeats and bringing her own heartbeat to the same rate. She felt a searing pain but then it calmed, and she had given him some relief. "I'm a healer."
