I always liked her character design and her rapier, so I was really glad she was requested! As for the background, the flower meaning itself doesn't pertain to her (she is most certainly not a love at first sight kind of person), but I drew roses and with a purple color to symbolize royalty.

Free art request raffle!! (Open!)

As the title states: for one person a week until November 20th, I will work on one FREE fully colored art request of your choice, along with an art process video for it! I’m doing this because it’s for a youtube class and they require I upkeep my channel in some way, so art was the only thing I felt wouldn’t deviate too much from what I usually like to do.

Stuff to keep in mind when requesting a character:

Rules are subject to change (since my professor wants me to do something different each week). I’ll underline any updates if there are any per week so that people who entered but haven’t won yet won’t have to read all of the rules over and over again!

I will not draw porn, mechas, heavily-clad armor, or furries, but everything else is free game.

Coloring/drawing style is variable depending on how I feel is best for the character at that moment (meaning it likely won’t be consistent from week to week).

Feel free to list more than one character on your request - it won’t be guaranteed that I’ll draw more than one character per request especially when I’m vying for time, but it's still a possibility!

Because it is free, a follow is required to request, but reblogs/likes are completely optional and will not affect the raffle whatsoever.

I will announce it in another post and message the person when the name is drawn. But if anyone else’s names don’t get drawn this week, that’s okay! I’ll be holding these requests once a week for 12 weeks, and therefore 12 art pieces w/art processes total (though limited to one art piece per person to be fair).

Rider was never meant to merely represent a comic relief character thrown in to make the war less grimdark - though he has charisma, charm, and finds profound interest and humor in daily living, those points in itself are present because he ultimately enjoys the struggle and the pursuit of fulfilling dreams.

It is for those reasons that I wanted to portray a side - not sugarcoated by roaring laughter or smiles - of whom he can truly be in order to satisfy that greed: a ruthless tyrant.
