Hellidiah Worldbuilding post
I figured that it would be quite helpful, for the purpose of writing fics set in the Hellidiahverse, to establish the setting more and get some lore straight. So, let's talk about it:
The Hellidiahverse itself is an unimaginably large dish that sits atop the back of a gargantuan rhino floating in an empty void. This dish shaped universe holds an incredible amount of worlds with life on them, including the planet where most of the current Hellidiah characters reside: Earth 2, The Sequel. sitting in the very center of the disc is The Clock of Alchemy, an unimaginably tall building that watches over the rest of the universe.
Every time a being comes into existence, the Clock of Alchemy chooses several attributes that are assigned to them, including their Morality, Soul Type, and Calling. More on these later. The Clock of Alchemy is ancient, and was created by the gods long before life appeared on any of the planets.
Long, long ago, the dish was empty. No worlds existed on it, no constructs, nothing. One day, an eagle fell from the sky and onto the dish. Its wings were badly injured, and it could no longer take off and fly, so it was forced to stay atop the plate. With time, and boredom, the eagle decided to create things. It created worlds, stars, planets, and eventually, fellow godlike companions to watch over these domains. The three creator gods are Emmete: The Eagle, Argon: The Snake, and Lucile: The Beast.
Over time, mortals would live and die on the worlds, and so the three creators had to devise an afterlife for these souls to go to, so that the dish would not be filled with the souls of the dead. Lucile descended underneath the dish and into the stomach of the Rhino, where Hell was created. Emmete flew above the dish, and established Heaven. Argon stayed on the dish, to watch over the living. This is how Heaven and Hell were created.
With the main three gods busy with their eternal duties, space was left for new deities to come about. Several mortals rose to fill in this spot, by going on grand journeys for immortality, or by being granted power by someone else. More on these some other time.
That's the basic history. Now, let's talk about attributes.
Morality is the quality that a soul is granted upon creation. Morality does not dictate whether someone does good or bad, however, it guides how they will achieve these things. The main moralities are Good, Evil, Neutral, Gray, and Fluid. Someone who is Good is driven towards order and control, predictability. Someone who is Evil is driven towards chaos and unpredictability. Someone who is Neutral prefers to stay in the middle of these things, mediating and never deviating towards either extreme. Someone who is Gray will have a complicated combination of any of these moralities. Someone who is Fluid may switch between different moralities in different situations. Moralities do not mean the same thing in the Hellidiahverse as they do in our world. An Evil person could very well be someone who strives for virtue, and a Good person could be someone who takes joy out of cruelty. They are not the same as our notions of Evil and Good.
Everyone has a Soul Type which determines what magics and aspects of the universe they are drawn to. The known soul types are:
Earth, Air, Water, Fire, Blood, Life, Death, Dark, Light, Soil, Plasma, and Astral
Each soul type will influence the path which someone takes, their interests, and things that bring them power. Specific examples in another post.
The Calling is probably the most simple attribute. Your calling helps to guide you down your specific path in life. There are many callings, but they include:
The Knight, The Monarch, The Nurse, The Craftsman, The Monster, and The Scholar.
Callings are not literal, but rather symbolic of the roles one takes on in their life. The Knight tends to be someone who fights for something or someone they believe in, whether literally or metaphorically. The Monarch is a leader. The Nurse is one who dedicates their life to helping others. The Craftsman creates things, brings them into being. The Scholar seeks knowledge. The Monster is fierce, untamed.
Sideways and Josh is a Knight, and his soul type is Light.
Hellidiah is a Scholar, and his soul type is Fire
Paper Cup and Microwavable is a Nurse, who's soul type is Water.
More canon callings and soul types will come out soon.

Camp Here and There was founded by Lucille Ball in 20XX, after she went broke due to I Love Lucy being taken off the air. It started off as a normal summer camp, with Jedidiah and Sydney as the sole employees. Unfortunately, Jedidiah has a twin brother, Hellidiah, who hates him. Hellidiah came to Camp Here and There, and placed a curse on it, which doomed the camp to an eternity of endless chaos, trapping several of its residents there forever. From there, many strange figures showed up and got trapped inside. The government caught onto the fact that Camp Here and There was now an effective magical prison, and began to throw people into it as punishment for crimes, knowing they would be unable to leave. This is why there are so many morally dubious people within the camp.
That's all for now. More lore soon.
