Koga nodded. “Same goes for me…” He said and jumped up so they could sit near the waterfall. The wolf demon set her down on the grass and stretched a little before flopping down as well.

She couldn’t help her smile, looking up at the night sky. Watching him sit next to her, Chou couldn’t help study him a little. She hugged her legs together, resting her head on her knees. “You’re kind.”

“Hmm... I’m not sure if I would call myself kind... Well, at least not before I met Kagome. After meeting her I changed, that I’m offering you help like this proved that she really has an impact on me somehow.” The wolf demon said and leaned back, laying down on the grass.

Koga tensed up and glared over to where the voice came from. “How dare you! Ayame! Get out of here! We talked this through already!” He grumbled and looked at the girl that disrupted their wedding.

All the wolves growled at her for the interruption. Ayame didn’t appear to care she stormed over to them. “I don’t care! You promised me this day not this bitch!! I challenge her to a fight for you!” The wolves gasped at her audacity.

Koga stood in front of Kagome and tried his very best not to growl. “Ayame, we talked this through and I explained myself, leave us be now. Don’t spoil this for us.” He said to the wolf girl. “I made up my mind and I am going to marry Kagome.”

NOW  ,  he  has  plenty  of  reason  to  fret  when  the  spear  does  not  make  it  out  of  his  hands  .  instead  ,  he  is  greeted  with  the  collision  of  something  …  or  someone  from  above  .  naturally  ,  the  weight  of  the  body  falling  directly  on  top  of  him  has  him  tumbling  face  -  first  into  the  grass  ,  the  spear  he  had  carried  in  one  hand  dropping  with  him  by  his  side  .  for  a  moment  ,  he  winces  ,  hearing  the  retreating  sounds  of  the  runaway  boar  with  dismay  .  so  much  for  that  … sighing  ,  he  picks  himself  up  without  aid  and  takes  a  moment  to  recollect  himself  from  his  loss  after  he  has  picked  up  his  spear  .  when  he  is  ready  to  be  a  lighthearted  sport  ,  he  faces  the  stranger  ,  surprised  to  see  he’s  as  handsome  as  he  is  .  striking  eyes  ,  and  the  loveliest  long  locks  of  raven  hair  …   ❝     ‘tis  alright  .  ‘m  a  little  more  concerned  as  te  what  yer  doin’  up  on  trees  .  were  yer  eyes  set  on  the  boar  too  ?     ❞

Koga looked down a little gingerly, even though he couldn’t see what the stranger looked like his scent and the sound of his voice told him this had to be a young male. The feral guy bit his lowerlip and pulled a twig from his hair. “I live in the forest... When I heard ya coming near I went up in the trees.” Koga explained and took  a step back when he could hear that the young man picked something up, probably his weapon. “I was going after the boar as well...” Right then his stomach rumbled loudly, a little embarrassed Koga turned away from the other and put a hand on his empty stomach. He must look like quite the strange apparition to the others, several twigs and leaves were stuck in his raven hair, some long locks must have escaped the tied up style he always wore. Mud smeared all over his face and his blue eyes devoid of pupils.

Koga brightened up right away when he watched his beautiful bride walk over. He helt out his hand for her to take as soon as she got close enough. “You look even more stunning than you always do…”

A blush paints across her cheeks as she takes his hand and stand next to him. “Thank you, you look so handsome today.” Holding his hand she relaxed a little knowing that when she was with him nothing could go wrong.

A voice at the entrance of the cave proved her wrong though, “I heard this was happening today! How dare you go through with this!” Ayame stood there hands on her hips.

Koga waited, standing in front of the main stage. He was really nervous somehow…

Miroku patted him reassuringly on the shoulder before taking his own seat. Everyone turned expectedly to the door as Kagome stepped through and slowly started to walk toward Koga with a smile on her face. She was so nervous but he was standing there before her looking so handsome.

“A little but I’m also really excited.” She bit her lip with a smile. “I’m ready to be Koga’s wife, more than ready.” The girl looked over and took a deep breath. “You two are going to have to go out there soon it will start soon.”

Its was an organized chaos and by the time they were all ready the den looked really neat! Nicely lit by the torches, smelling great because of the flowers… It was almost time for the reception! Koga had been dressed in black wolffur.

“How do I look Sango? Shinju?” Kagome turned around she was wearing a long white kimono with gentle little flowers on it, and a cloak of white fur on her back. Her hair was in a simple up do with her bangs framing her face, and a gentle veil over her face on her head.

Sango mostly tended to her babies, but she did help when it came time to get Kagome dressed and ready. Miroku as much as he wanted to escape helping was being forced to help by Inuyasha and Sango. Wolves bustled around decorating, cooking, and getting other things ready.

Her face was pressed against his neck as she nuzzled into his warmth. “All is right with the world I’m in your arms again.” Feeling sleepy again now that he was holding her and she felt secure and loved, she yawned. “Mmmm we have a busy day ahead of us.”

Koga nodded. “Very busy! Let’s go help out with preparations then.” He said and looked at her. Giving one last quick peck on her lips. “I love you… Spend every night with me from now on.”

A sappy smile crossed her face and she nodded, “Of course, it seems I can’t sleep without you anymore.” Kissing his cheek she went to go help with preparations.

With a moan she melted into the kiss and his arms as she kissed him back just as deeply. Eventually she pulled back to catch her breath, “Let’s never do this again.”

Koga nodded and picked her up swiftly, bridal style. “Surely, let’s move outside then.” He said and started walking to the exit of the den, a slightly cool breeze blew towards them. “It’s nice… That breeze…”

She was taken back at his gesture, but was happy she wasn’t hoisted over his shoulder again. Her hands kept to her chest, not wanting to be thrown off balance. The breeze was indeed nice, nodding in agreement. “When it’s nice out, I don’t mind sleeping under the stars.”

Kagome didn’t look up at him as he spoke to her. Sniffling softly as she spoke, her words muffled by her hands. “You know…I had always wondered if demons still lived on into this day and age. And I had accepted the fact that humans might have done something stupid. Its human nature right? B-but then I saw you and I felt relief. I was happy to see you not only made it. But you are doing really well. “She paused to try and calm herself down more. Sniffling a little more she continued. “I hadn’t even thought twice about you saying you didn’t know where inuyasha was. I mean he’s half human. I didn’t know if he would have as long as a life span right? I accepted that you know….”

Kagomes head turned towards Koga. One brown teary eye peered at him through her hair. “Why didn’t you just tell me he was alive?” Actually it had come to a point for her that she was moving on from her love for the half demon. She would in a sense always love him. He was important to her. But at the same time she had already began to move on with her life.

Koga reached out and stroked her silky black hair. "Kagome... I wanted to surprise you, I didnt want to lie to you or hurt you." He said and moved down to look her in the eyes. "Don't be mad at him. He's just confused and scared..." The wolf demon said. "Whenever we're out on patrol I know he's looking everywhere for you, but at the same time he's scared for what he'll see."

Koga then leaned back again. What was he doing? Defending Inuyasha... Robbing himself of his own chances... How stupid he was...
