True Cross Town, despite technically being in Tokyo, was very insular. Near the school and the monastery where he lived, it was rare to see high schoolers wearing anything but the True Cross uniform— which is why the appearance of a girl in a green uniform he didn’t recognize piqued his interest.

If the True Cross uniform skirts were short, these were ridiculous. What was the point of making the girl students wear long sleeves if the skirts were that revealing? Whoever was in charge of the uniforms at their school clearly wasn’t thinking clearly...

Rin was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn’t realize he was staring intently at the girl’s legs, let alone that his staring was making him look like a pervert. He had so little experience in the human world that how he appeared to others right now didn’t even occur to him.

        🔥 Its astonishing how every person and town live udner the same sun yet it doesn’t              seem so. From people to lifestyle and               even climate. Its a laughable matter how Reim folks complain of the weather                                                       when he felt nothing. He could point out the differences.

               Balbadd could be under heat on daytime, slightly humid due to its closure to               the Ocean yet during evening does it grow foggy and cold. Sindria was mostly                   tropical, as a floating island in middle of cean and harbor a jungle for that.                So it wasn’t that hot. And on other times the scent of petrichior overwhelmed                          the island due to rain. While Reim remained the same regardless.

Kaiden barely moved out of the way in time of the giant ogre’s hammer. The ground shook where it landed. Kaiden stumbles before regaining her balance. She had enough time to strike before the ogre could strike at her once more. She gets close enough and swings her katana at the beast, though she miscalculated and was struck with the hammer knocking the wind from the slayer’s chest.

On the ground struggling for her air as the ogre lumbered over to her, it’s footsteps shaking the ground. Kaiden used the katana to help herself up and once again just barely rolled out of the way of the strike to the ground. 

Wiping the blood and sweat off her brow, she wondered how much longer she could keep this up.

             He could tell that he was not completely himself, because out of the thirty some odd questions he had about his current predicament, only one of them had to do with the fact that he was drenched in sweat and of course it was the one thing he was hyper-focusing on.In his defense, it was a valid point of concern. Being an ice based magician had it’s benefits, and being an ice based Magi meant he was much more bonded with his element to the point that he was generally frigid and uncomfortable to the touch.

                         So, this was kind of... alarming.             Not nearly as alarming as the realization that he’d practically wandered straight into this person shaped blob without even sensing her. How had she gotten in his way like this? More over, why was the state of his condition interfering with his connection with his own damn Rukh? Better yet, where the hell even was he? He’d remembered teleporting himself... somewhere... he had intended to be at a specific location, but what had it been exactly? 

            Christ, so many questions, none of them being answered. It was time to interrogate this person. Which, might have gone decently, had his knees and levitation spell not chosen that exact moment to give out and drop him into a pile on the ground.
