the first para I ever make is Scout and he's kind of ugly and I hate him but it's okay we can't all be perfect

having lots of fun building though! definitely encountering some annoying bugs here and there but that's to be expected with an early access game. anyways they gave me dangerous power with the ability to import custom assets but brother I am loving it

In my humble opinion, the two worst crimes people can commit regarding Sniper are

a) turning him smooth and twinkish

b) turning him 40

Yes, he looks old and wrinkly. Yes, he's canonically in the 26-30 age range. Those things can coexist. People age in all sorts of different ways, and this is a man from the mid 20th century who smokes cigarettes regularly, comes from Australia, lives an outdoorsy lifestyle, and has a difficult and stressful relationship with his father. I doubt he's the kind of person to have an in-depth skincare routine or even remember sunscreen. Those are all things that will age you. It's not that unbelievable for Sniper to look like that at his canon age, regardless of whether or not his canon age was a mistake by the writers.

also on a side note I really want more Sniper/Spy content that acknowledges that Sniper is a man in his late 20s with daddy issues dating a man twice his age
