The way he said worded it really did make it seem like she was some kind of hero as opposed to just a girl with a lot of talent. Which wasn't completely wrong, but judging by who asked it did seem genuine.

"Ran a few races, pretty big ones and managed to take the win. Not all of them but I made sure they knew a gray mane like myself shouldn't be underestimated in the slightest."

"Stealing away mortal- I mean humans into other realms, Yes, it has happened before. But never to this extent. One can surmise that this is another world entirely, but this one has no proof."

"Well you ain't wrong even if none of this looks like I've ever seen back at home. Like someone was trying to make a replica of it or somethin'."

Which definitely made it weirder. At this rate she would've sworn she found anything that looked familiar...

"Tamamo Cross. Horse girl with I guess a little bit of renown back home. Nice to meet ya'."

"One needs not to know much to ascertain the situation.... we are all kidnapped unexpectedly. truly this situation is most egregious." wise and common words spoken when one person gains their bearings upon waking in this strange world.

"I mean ya' sounds real calm 'bout all of it." For better or for worse given how little all of them knew still. Not like school curriculum ever had a "transported to another world" class section.

"This happen before to you or something?"

As soon as the girl hopped onto the back, Promosis said: "Please hold on tightly." And then with one strong push, they were off! Down the slope at an impressive speed.

The wind rushed passed their faces, and Promosis used her large hands to keep the momentum going, never giving a chance for the sled to slow down. It seemed as though that they were both going to escape the storm !

"Tightly? How tightly are you gonna want me to do thAAAAAT?"

The answer was given just as quickly, being pushed down the slope like one of those roller coaster rides. Only with something far more dangerous following them then just another car...

"I was not expecting this level of momentum! Is it easier to fly down on sand or something?" Not that she was complaining but maybe this was just the better option overall.

Hikaru agreed to this horse-hybrid, knowing this was her very first to see one in person but this looked friendly knowing she doesn't mind interacting with them. Wait, she can? Well best not to know or to know a little, depends on Tamamo Cross' intention. Well, she's not wrong.

Treats wise, they're free.

"You think the sleigh rides are free? We should ride it!" Maybe they should. It could be fun and helps to ease stress thinking too much on a very bad person that exists here.

"Think I saw somewhere that they're doing just that. So I'd hope we aren't too late to get in on the fun." Not that waiting for tomorrow wouldn't hurt. But going back to their homes with hot drinks would be a rather lackluster way to end the afternoon.

"If ya' wanted to tag along with me for the ride I wouldn't be opposed to some company. Not like I came here with anyone else in the first place."

If she had one would probably be trying to get food from every little stall out here. And the other would be pampering anyone in her sights without a second thought...

Although she had to prop her knees up awkwardly, Promosis was sliding down the sand easily enough. With her long limbs, large hands, and immense strength; pushing the sled so that it could gain momentum was a rather simple task for her. However, when she looked over to see the girl struggling, she was swift to make a suggestion.

"Ah, quickly. You should share my sled with me. I can push us away from the storm, but you must be fast. Hurry now or we'll both be caught.." Despite the urgency of the situation and her words, her tone remained calm.

"You can push us both?!" It might've not sounded that impressive on second thought but whether they could actually outpace still had to be seen. Sadly there wasn't any time to practice or doubt, not like the disaster would take a rain check either.

"Gah fine!" Without a second thought she hopped onto the back of the sled, plenty of room shared between the two of them. "If you need me to push too I can lend a hand. Two is always better then one ain't it?"

Though that might not apply in a situation like this. Or with how already frazzled Cross was trying not to seem either...

"Who even could have made a mummy storm happen in the first place?!" What started out as a simple sleigh ride again (in the sand oddly enough) in a new location managed to turn into something rather crazier. Only after a little bit riding alongside the stranger Cross got paired up with did the two hear something from behind, the sandstorm right behind them bigger then anything she'd ever seen before.

"You don't know how to make this thing go faster right? Bad enough we're not on snow..."

What compelled Cross to enter the glass dome was beyond the uma's thoughts. Something about just seeing what it was like inside one of these snow globes may have latched their way inside, from seeing them all the time being given out as souvenirs from long holiday trips. After finally wandering on in and also experiencing what zero gravity felt like she felt she'd seen it all to head out, up till someone else seemed to be experiencing this for the first time as well. A first time paired up with someone else in the same boat couldn't hurt.

"I always thought these things were pretty small when I saw 'em out on shelves but I guess I forgot to remind myself how small the little things in here really were." Tamamo said before turning her head over to her newfound partner in crime for the new few minutes. "How 'bout you? Ever had an opportunity like this back home?"

"Can't say I've ever been rode on something like this before. Usually if I had to get somewhere I'd just run myself but this is pretty comfy." And that didn't even include the rather delicious hot chocolate that came free with this whole little sleigh ride. If anything Cross wished there were more of the others around to enjoy this with. But the next best thing was a stranger even if she didn't know them personally.

"The treats they handed out taste homemade too. They really go all in on holiday spirit homemade here don't ya' think?"

Ω So Tama-to was off the table? That was a tragic outcome! "If you say so~! I think Tamtam suits you better anyways!" To be fair to Tamamo Cross, she definitely knew by now that there was no winning against Creek's penchant for nicknames. It just felt so cold and impersonal not to refer to someone by one! "They put me in a condo... Honestly, it doesn't feel that much different from living in the Tracen dorms! I haven't seen much of my roommate though, come to think of it..."

Another person to dote on, perhaps?

They were housed in different areas it seemed, but the distance probably wasn't too great for a horse girl to cover in a reasonable time. "It's... fine though!" There was a bit of hesitation there, but she wouldn't expand on it without being prodded out of fear of worrying Tamamo.

"What about your diet? Have you been eating well? Sleeping okay? You're always welcome to sleep at my place if you're having nightmares!" She would have loved to have someone stay over that she could take of, she wasn't even being transparent about that. But she was trying to avoid talking about herself by talking about Tamamo instead.

"A condo? They really don't skimp out on housing arrangements 'round here." It did make the uma wonder just how much effort they put into these places for all people that got dragged here. "Mine's just a bit jumpy. Though I don't think she's really all that bad just anxious. Makes me wonder if whoever was rooming with her back home had to deal with similar things."

Of course Cross did feel she could get through to her at some point with frequent enough conversations. The real problem came with figuring out just how much progress the horse girl was making with them without pushing herself or her roommate too far. Something Cross knew she wasn't the greatest at no matter where she ended up...

"Ah well I can say the same too you to. I doubt she'll mind too much if company comes on by. After all best we stick together if its gonna just be us two for awhile." Even with that she knew getting "away" from Creek was easier said then done. Especially given how much they've been together beforehand.

"Though having someone to run with will definitely help get back in shape. Eating well ain't too hard for me but finding someone to keep up is pretty rare here. Or just people don't train themselves that much either."

Seems her kind can be trusted... as long as not manipulative unlike her early years where she almost got killed by some lunatic. Shouko doesn't need more additional stress and mental chaos.

At least it's her and Tamamo Cross, for now unless stars grant a new roomie, which is normal per eclipse. Shouko also hoped no harm befalls them... even if that one 'lunatic' returned to haunt them.

"I-I believe you..." Asides simple words, Shouko means it. After all, she would seek a hundred friends here, as long as not banished knowing this goal of hers are nigh impossible to succeed.

"Well that's good..." Though the words left in her head made Cross wonder just how much that actually amounted to. A conversation for another time if this actually managed to last beyond a few weeks. And maybe if some of her friends came along that'd be marginally easier to do as well..

"That being said any room in particular you want?" It felt like an obvious question to ask though Cross didn't know if one stuck out the most to someone like her. "I can help set you up again and decorate if ya' need a hand. Not the greatest when it comes to the whole making things pretty but if you got a vision we can make here."

Breathe in and out, gulp after. Shouko quickly looked at her contacts list and find any info to confirm that she lives here with Tamamo Cross... and it was legit. The other was doing her best not to make Shouko cause further panic as understandable.

"N-Not really... i-uh, stayed here l-long ago...?" Even if she's careful on her words, it always swallows accidentally. When the 'help' was heard on the part... well, yeah.

"A-Are there... anyone else than us... living here?" Aaaaaand she's back being static.

"Oh you were here before?" Cross couldn't tell if that was the worst luck she had ever seen in awhile to not only be kidnapped once but apparently twice to the same city. Maybe the world really had it out for this one girl and the already rather low chance of it happening again meant she was really unlucky. Either way she felt for Komi far too much.

"Think we are. I didn't see anyone else listed on my phone." A quick check proved that to be true. Not like she needed someone else jump scaring her. "Unless someone else ends up being shoved here. But if that does happen I'm sure one of us will pick up on it pretty quickly."

Or neither of them would. Hopefully that wouldn't be the case...

"On the bright side ya' don't gotta worry too much about me taking over anything. All I need is one room and I'll be more then good! And if you need anythin' I can try and help you out."

Ω "I know! But I don't think there are any names that suit you better? Maybe Tama-to?" She could have called her by her actual name, but that wasn't really Creek's style when she got like that with someone. It wasn't like she was playing a role, it was a core part of her personality to dote on others!

Tamamo was more or less confirming what she had already assumed after speaking with others. "I've already had a few encounters like that... But It's okay! Since we have each other, it's not like we're alone!" It wasn't just a matter of "trying to look on the bright side". She was trying to convince herself.

"Where are you staying anyways, Tamtam? I wonder if we live close to each other? I should come by and make sure you're taking good care of your bedroom!" If you knew Super Creek well enough, you'd know if she was being this bothersome then there was probably something bothering her. Running away from her own problems by helping other people solve theirs.

There was that undeniable doting charm Cross missed somewhat. It was one thing to be supportive but Creek managed to take it to another level no matter who it was in front of her. It bordered into the realm of almost too giving but the horse girl knew just how impressive she was on the the track too.

"Ah I suppose yer' right." Still it did worry her deep down. Did Oguri or any of the others even realize they were gone? Surely her own roommate realized she had been not showing up for awhile. Hopefully...

"...Tamtam is just fine. And I can take care of my own room just fine! " Probably. Maybe if her roommates were messy they could get a lesson from someone like her. If things were only that easy.

"They threw me in one of those townhouse. Way bigger then any of the dorms I've seen before. Might as well have enough space to be an actual dormitory rather then just one room."

More if she was the only person there. Even then running out of room might as well have been an impossibility.

"How 'bout you? I don't mind taking a run over to where you are to make sure everything is working out for ya' either."

Definitely not gonna bite as Tamamo Cross, she hoped for that. She gulped as she speak. Shouko got the message, all she needs is to register it on her memories. Well, she's like that since her first day of school, still she hoped to be friends with anyone here.

Hearing the other's name, glad her family aren't horse racing fans.

"S-Shouko... Komi." An awkwardly bow as she added. "N-Nice to meet you..."

Brutally unaware that they will live in the same room.

"...Nice to meet ya Komi."

Maybe this was a "hidden fan" situation. Unless she was really just that shy naturally. Then it only made all of this that more awkward in terms of energy. One was a racer and performer and the other well...

...Was just a normal high school student? Unless she too was missing something from all of this.

"What do I say that doesn't make me sound like I'm going to explode at her off a dime drop." Someone like Creek was far better at this then she was.

"You new here? Need anything that I can help out with?"

Shouko was indeed like... trembling asides Tamamo Cross means no harm. She kept blinking in every two seconds, doesn't even know what to say and respond. Shouko is harmless but tends to be static most of the time.

She's doing her best to talk...

"N-Nothing... h-how's day?" Well, that was... awkward.

"It's definitely going." Now she felt like the villain here for making things potentially weirder then it already needed to be. Still not like it was either of their fault. Probably, unless Cross didn't realize said something she shouldn't have.

"'Hey no need to be tense alright? I'm not gonna bite ya'." Maybe some other freak out here would but she needed to at least try and clean up the air here.

"Let's start with this. I'm Tamamo Cross. What your name?"
