Ever the wandering spirit, Motochika could never seem to keep his feet planted firmly in one place for too long. This ward he’d found himself assigned to was fascinating and filled to the brim with sights he had never known. Eyes bright and heart roaring in both wonder and sorrow, he found himself lamenting. This felt… in some ways wrong to behold without his crew. Had he died out in that storm? Sometimes he struggles still with the reality of his fate. The concern must have crept onto his face as he heard the voice of someone a little closer than he had expected. He paused, watching the girl for a moment, and then to his surroundings. He wasn’t even certain if he was lost precisely. “Aye, perhaps...”

“Can you tell me, how is it that you ended up here? And for how long?”

Hikaru only sighed... she's still stuck here in this place for very long time, it was like she never aged as stuck being forever 'fourteen'. If he needed help to familiarize this place, she actually can as she is a nice person to anyone, unless pushed that is like last time.

"Eight years... Believe it or not, i've been here for a very long time in this place, i have never met my bestfriends or those i knew from my world. I've been through a lot, though." The schoolgirl in red wasn't joking as her tone was serious. She's been in this place for very long despite her being disappearing and reappearing from the void. "I have met friends as they disappear and rarely new ones." When she's in danger, she can rely on Arturia as she had helped her on her dilemmas especially that one time.

"That was the name?" Hikaru would not get it at first but she realized that... well, never mind mentioning that. She would never get their kind but wanting to know anyway, knowing they are nice horse-beings or nice uma or how their kind called.

"Tamamo... Cross? If that's her name, yes. I did met her at the winterfes months ago." Is that uma a celebrity or something or every uma is a celebrity... By the lords, Hikaru will never understand race horses and horse races despite her young age of forever fourteen.

how was one supposed to feel about this?

dogs, as natural in behavior as could ever be, yet without a head proper to what they're known for. no ears to perk with curious excitement, large and observant eyes missing from where they were expected. it was almost unnerving to see the wag of that bushy tail, yet there was no panting or bark to accompany the bounding paws that slapped the ground before him.

the creature leapt and bent down, stretching in a typical dog-like greeting, leaving august to stare; blinking down at that brightened screen it wore. slowly, he kneeled down to be on an equal level.

"hey, girl." gloved hand extended, he waited for permission to scratch at what fur he could reach. a patch just below the neck, fingers working their way to the side. it seemed to enjoy it if tail and tapping paws were anything to go by. had a smile slowly etching upon the mechanics face, right up until he made the mistake of curiously reaching for that bright screen. even just brushing the corner had the dog pulling back.

" 's a no then, is it? should'a figured." a pause, "where are ye rushin' off ta?"

as if august had become like old news, the tablet-headed pooch bounded away to another. not so much as sparing the man a glance of a goodbye, leaving him, instead, to turn his attention to its new human of choice.

It was indeed a normal day, knowing she'd want to pet a dog too. Better if it was a pet that could accompany her. Hikaru was aware that dogs can be aggressive too if not doing it right by rude acts. She do love dogs as the other one was.

As the dog went to her attention, she wondered why it didn't get him instead... Was it something that scared the dog? Hikaru would not wanna know.

"Quite sure they have reasons..." She gently pat the dog, knowing it won't bite her. After all, Hikaru does have a grown pet dog at her world, hoping her three brothers will take care of it while being here in Spirale for so many years passed.

"I kinda missed my dog at my world... Wish i can have a pet dog here too, if possible." If only the 'stars' would let her have a pet, that will be great.

Right when Hikaru needed a breather after her normal habit of swinging swords, known as kendo practice... Well, there is one whose ears similar to a certain horse she had met... before that is.

Immediately returning Escudo back to her glove like magic, guess she'll play along whatever this one's antics.

Living a life free from stress even temporarily at Fibonacci, now living at Archimedes it was a good day for Hikaru after banished from the void. Of course, she won't be too overconfident as it was an insidious foe. What was Hikaru doing before all this? Browsing internet on her phone about cute dogs.

Wandering around Archimedes, she met a handsome pirate based on outfit alone. Wondering if he's either lost or heading specifically.

"May i help you?" It was merely a simple question but doesn't know if help needed or no.

"Can't say I've ever been rode on something like this before. Usually if I had to get somewhere I'd just run myself but this is pretty comfy." And that didn't even include the rather delicious hot chocolate that came free with this whole little sleigh ride. If anything Cross wished there were more of the others around to enjoy this with. But the next best thing was a stranger even if she didn't know them personally.

"The treats they handed out taste homemade too. They really go all in on holiday spirit homemade here don't ya' think?"

Hikaru agreed to this horse-hybrid, knowing this was her very first to see one in person but this looked friendly knowing she doesn't mind interacting with them. Wait, she can? Well best not to know or to know a little, depends on Tamamo Cross' intention. Well, she's not wrong.

Treats wise, they're free.

"You think the sleigh rides are free? We should ride it!" Maybe they should. It could be fun and helps to ease stress thinking too much on a very bad person that exists here.

TO SAY HE WAS A BAKER WOULD BE A LIE, truth be told. and yet, he was drawn to this station all the same, especially given the way baking is handled. while it wasn't actual science, it operates much like one with measurements, putting him at a slight advantage when it came to following certain directions. and before long, his piece had popped out of the oven 一 a cosmic looking berry pie, a single slice now being served to a young woman who seemed intrigued if nothing else.

As Hikaru thought that cookies were only allowed, so were pies. Of course, she's here to learn how to bake stuff as well so she can have other hobbies than just swinging a sword every single day. The flavor and everything about the pie was... eh, fine.

"Oh, sure. I'm no baker critic but nothing wrong trying it out." Taking a bite out of the offered slice, it takes time for her to find out if it was good... or not. Until the flavor kicked in.

"It doesn't taste bad. Flavor-wise is. What did you use?" Curious on the one as main ingredient as liked the flavor but now she looked at the pie's look. "Texture only needs improvement though..." Hikaru would rate that 7 out of ten which is a passing standard.

"You bake these at your world? Try mine!" Before she and him met, she made gingerbread cookies but lack of quality and ingredients. She plans to gift them to her friends in the future.

Hikaru always believed in camaraderie, such is a bond of friendship. She indeed hoped that assassin won't be here ever again but the eclipse may crush that hope through presence. There was indeed no threat as Arturia said.
