Tate couldn’t help the way his lips curled into a small smile and he laced his and Ozzy’s fingers together gently. He knew he was probably worrying Ozzy with how quiet he was being so he knew he needed to start acting like himself again.“I love you too, Ozzy. Honestly, you’re the best boyfriend I could ever have.” He said, bringing Ozzy’s hand up to his mouth and pressing a quick kiss to the top of his hand. Tate tightened his hold on his boyfriend’s hand slightly when they got to his brother’s house and he turned in his seat to look Ozzy. “Do you want to stay here and I’ll just grab my inhaler real quick?” Tate knew how his brother was even more overprotective than was Ozzy, so as a result, Ethan didn’t exactly ‘approve’ of his and Ozzy’s relationship. On some level Tate understood why his brother didn’t like his relationship, since Tate hasn’t told Ozzy everything, but he still hated the way his brother acted towards Ozzy.
“I find that hard to believe, but if you say so.” He chuckled at Tate’s claim that he was the best friend he could ever have. Ozzy didn’t really think that he was the best boyfriend ever. He knew for sure that there were places in their relationship where he could bring more to the table and be more open with his feelings with Tate. Before he started dating the other boy, he had found it difficult to state how he feels, still does actually, but he had gotten so much better over the past few months, and he was proud of himself for that. He smiled when Tate kissed his hand nonetheless, letting out a soft sigh of content. “I’l stay here.” He nodded once, not wanting to deal with his boyfriend’s older brother. The two of them had never gotten along for some odd reasons, Ethan never having given the twenty one year old a chance, but at the same time, Ozzy didn’t care. He had never been one who was crazy about seeking out acceptance from other people. “Bring it back out here so I can watch you take it, though.”
