what she means: in Friends, Chandler was always considered very average and not that attractive, in fact the very base of his character was that he was the funny/goofy one, Ross was the smart one, and that Joey was the cute one, but Chandler was actually remarkably intelligent and hardworking, as well as the fact Matthew Perry was a very attractive man, whereas Ross most often got himself into awkward shenanigans and Joey was often very goofy. Chandler was the best of all three of them put together, without some of the other two's worse attributes (Ross' tendency to ramble on, Joey's grudge-holding, Ross' quick temper, etc), yet somehow it was considered by pretty much everybody in the Friends universe that Monica was a catch for Chandler and he should feel honoured to be dating her... Chandler was a brilliant character and it is unacceptable that his most prominent attribute, his comedy, has become recognisably his only positive attribute.

James Potter: accepted without question or prejudice Remus, a werewolf, and Sirius, the son of a Voldemort supporting family as his friends , didn't reject Remus when he found out he was a werewolf but instead spent years mastering a complex and difficult spell just for a chance to offer him some comfort during his painful transformations, opened his home to Sirius when he had nowhere else to go, bettered himself just for the chance to be with Lily, fought with the Order to protect muggles and muggleborns to make the world a better place,went against the most powerful dark wizard at the time with no wand just to give his wife and child the chance to get away.

Severus Snape: willingly joined Voldemort's side even though he knew they were targeting Muggleborns like his supposed love interest , only changed sides when Lily was targeted not because he thought it was wrong, was willing to let Lily's husband and their innocent child die just so he could have Lily and to himself, was willing to let an innocent man have his soul sucked out , outed Remus as a werewolf purely out of spite, spent years emotionally, mentally and physically abusing children including the abused son of the woman he claimed to love.

Snape apologists: Oh my God, James was such a horrible person. He stole Lily from Snape and drove him to the dark arts. Snape did nothing wrong, he was so innocent , it was James fault he turned bad. James is such an asshole.

i love prince eric. from the little mermaid. he’s hilarious. because he seems like one of the most mild-mannered and unassuming princes in the disney canon, but he is also one of the few to actively kill the bad guy. most disney villains die by consequence of the final battle but are not directly killed by the hero/heroine. most of them fall to their deaths or cause their own demise, and sometimes the hero is indirectly responsible because they’ll launch them into that direction or something, but they still don’t bring knife to heart directly.

but then a couple do. and prince eric is my fave out of those few because up until the final act, he is the most chill motherfucker u ever seen. like he is quick to spring to action during the storm scene n stuff, but otherwise? he’s really quiet n sensitive and runs along the beach playing the flute for his big shaggy dog n he smiles like a lil nerd and gets all cute around ariel and he’s so sweet n everything.

AND THEN IN THE FINAL BATTLE THAT MOTHERFUCKER STRAIGHT UP DRIVES A SHIP THROUGH URSULA LIKE WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!! NO WONDER NO ONE IS TRYIN TO LAY SIEGE TO HIS KINGDOM!! ALL THE NEIGHBOURS ARE LIKE “HOLY SHIT DON’T GO THERE! PRINCE ERIC IS A BEAST! HE’LL STRAIGHT UP DRIVE A BOAT THROUGH YOUR BITCH!”
