Childhood: Growing up was tough on Anna. She got into a terrible accident that nearly killed her as a child, caused by her sister. Once she woke from her surgery, her relationship with her sister was never the same again. Elsa never spoke to Anna, never wanted to play with her, and that really hurt the young princess. She spent countless hours by herself, reading, singing, jumping around and doing anything to pass the time, especially since she wasn't allowed outside the gates of the castle. Her parents died a few years before Elsa would become of age and that caused a real traumatic experience for Anna. She had no one else. Her sister hated her and the only company she was allowed was her staff.
Adolescence: Anna met Hans on the day of Elsa's coronation, the moment the gates were opened. That night they were engaged to one another. After Elsa's coronation, Anna followed her to Walt with Kristoff where she now receives a different education than what she was given in Arendelle.
Adulthood: Anna isn't quite sure what will happen with her once she's old enough. She hopes to convince Elsa to return to Arendelle and rule the kingdom. Eventually, she would like to return home with Kristoff and Elsa.

As for jewellery, Anna has her ears pierced. She might occasionally change the studs every now and then, but it’s mostly the same pair of earrings for weeks on end. Sometimes little flowers and other times pearls. Anna wears a necklace with a very thin, sliver chain that her mother gave her to once. On the chain hangs a small and delicate carved snowflake out of sterling silver. Whenever Anna misses her parents, Elsa or home, she holds the snowflake between her fingers and closes her eyes, letting her mind wander back to the good times when she was a child.
