Is there any way you could put up a demo version of KO Mech on itch so I could try it out before I buy it. I loved Subbania immensely, and bought Aerannis when I found out about it as a result, but hated it due to the stealth sections and couldn't finish it. KO Mech looks more enjoyable to me, but I'd just like to be sure there's no frustrating features. The Black Hand looks great too. Monoeyes are awesome!

It’s a game about a pure-hearted tiny mech that punches the 🔥HELL🔥 out of innocents on a quest to become the boxing champ. You punch things, they fly across the screen, they hit other things, and everything explodes. That’s the best way to sum it up.
The hardest thing about this is capturing the intensity of it all on video. It flies at turbo speed and short gameplay clips really don’t do enough to convey the pure satisfaction of chaining up explosions.
Hopefully everyone out there enjoys it, and if it’s appealing to you, reblogs definitely help me out. :)

I just played through Aerannis in this steam sale and I really loved it. I was wondering what inspired you to make such a queer-themed game, and will any of your future games be thematically similar? It's something I think the gaming community desperately needs right now.
Two major reasons:
1: I wanted to make a game for some of the people around me who felt left out of games.
2: US politics the last few years has involved a lot of finger-pointing and blaming entire groups of people for the most bizarre things, and even those who start with good intentions have ended up going down a destructive path. I wanted to show a universe that started with some good intentions, but was taken over by radicals who shifted things in the opposite direction under the same label.
The two projects I’ve got now are KO Mech and The Black Hand. KO Mech is going to be released soon (Steam link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/862770/KO_Mech/ ). It’s just a goofy action game but borrows some of the visual themes of Aerannis. The Black Hand is another somewhat political game, but there aren’t any major queer themes involved. Once I get these two games released, I’ll think about my next projects. KO Mech has just been a silly thing for me to relax with, but I do want to do a more slightly “serious”-themed game after this. As for the contents, I have no real idea yet.
And thanks for this message. It’s nice knowing a project I made a couple years ago is still impactful today. :)
