“Between the hunters, our mortal enemies, and the possibility of this being some sort of trap...” She trailed off with a shrug. “It’s impossible not to be apprehensive but... On the other hand, if we don’t come to this little meeting, it makes us look like we side with those tyrants.” She almost wished she’d taken her chances but alas... She shook the thought off and gave a thin-lipped smile. “May I ask what has you so apprehensive, or did my words properly sum it up for you?”

“Well, isn’t this fun...” She mumbled, shaking her head slightly as she took a seat on the beach and eyed the fire with a near dubious expression. She couldn’t help but wonder if Joham would disapprove of her presence at the meeting... Still, everyone but the Volturi was welcome, and it was nice to know just what the other side was thinking.

“You’re just a spoilsport, that’s all.” She said quietly, shrugging her shoulders as she polished the apple off on her shirt and briefly contemplated throwing it as his head. Clearly, it was too big for his shoulders to bear.

Fred nodded appreciatively at her words, a bit impressed. “I happen to enjoy a good documentary, myself. I’d say that the learning is the entertainment. What could be more fun than expanding your knowledge on a subject that you might find yourself lacking in? Or even in one that you thought you knew most of everything on.” If there was one thing that Fred didn’t mind about his transformation, it was that he now had an eternity to learn, to study. Sure, he had to give up his old life, and he did miss his family, but there were moments when he thought that the benefits outweighed the cons. “You’re into music, then?” The last time Fred had turned on MTV, it had been all about the music, and he was unaware of any changes.

She nodded her head slowly, a smile slowly forming on her lips. “I’m not going to disagree with you, as I see the truth in your words but... If all we rely on is television for knowledge, are we truly learning?” She quietly inquired, brow furrowing slightly. “Personally, I’ve always been a fan of the written word and occasionally - very rarely - visual aids.” She chuckled quietly, chewing on the inside of her cheek. “I am. Mostly classical and some of it, by now, is probably considering classic but... I’m also into various genres of music. In that sense, I suppose you could say my tastes are rather... Eclectic.”

“You think so?” She hummed thoughtfully, eyeing the girl. “I imagine the only way you could catch things, at this point, is if they happened to bounce off your head but... You’re free to prove me wrong.” She teased.

He wasn’t disagreeing, but he felt the need to comment on the popularity. “I don’t watch much TV myself, so I can’t really compare any acting, but I will say that even just the premise sounds to be a bit…” he trailed off, searching for the world. “Well. Let’s just say it’s not my cup of tea. Though I would be interested in hearing about any series you find to be worthy of your time.”

The smile that touched her lips next was almost fleeting. “Well, anything that’s a documentary, for starters. I prefer learning over entertainment value and if I wanted to be entertained, all I’d have to do is look around this podunk and see whose cousin is sleeping with who.” At that, she flashed a pretty, little smile and rolled her shoulders in a shrug. “But... I suppose, turning on MTV would do, too...” She mused innocently. She hadn’t actually watched MTV since she was a teenager but from what little she’d heard about it, it had de-evolved and quite rapidly, at that. It had gone from music videos to a complete circus show... And not the good kind, either.

“i do not believe there is ever enough sons of anarchy.” whenever danielle pushed through her creativeness to the point there were no words left to be typed on the screen, she turned to netflix to end her writer’s block. sons of anarchy was one of her favorite shows to binge watch.

“There is if it’s over-dramatized, inaccurate, and filled to the brim with horrible acting.” She didn’t see how the show had become critically acclaimed, but she knew she couldn’t sit through more than a couple of episodes without feeling the urge to gauge her own eyes out.

“I’m sorry, but what is Sons of Anarchy?” Maggie asked as she looked over at the woman, her eyebrows raised. She had to admit, she was pretty out of touch with the modern world, with all the new television shows that she heard people around her talking about. It was hard to adapt to all the changes the modern world was coming up with, especially when they all happened so quickly.

“It’s supposed to be a critically acclaimed television show. Pity how low standards have sunk...” She sighed quietly, not particularly keen on the topic at hand. “What brings you to a place like this, anyways?” She quietly inquired, curiosity killing the proverbial cat. She was always curious about people’s stories, if only because it gave her a point in which to jump from and if necessary, it could help keep a conversation going.

“I was wondering how long you were going to torture yourself for,” Fred looked up from the mug he was pretending to drink from. “Did somebody make you watch that on a dare or something?” He’d been watching the other subtly for a while now, curious to see another of his kind lingering in the coffee shop and blending among the humans.

She scoffed quietly, her eyes shifting towards the laptop for the briefest of moments. “Afraid not... I thought it’d be something worthy of my time but after the first couple of episodes, I see it’s just another over-dramatized, inaccurate, steaming pile of manure. The way Jax walks was laughable, at best and at its absolute worst, it was simply terrible acting.”
