Making Friends.
Hello again! It's been a while since I've posted anything art related. Sorry, artist block really took me out. And I saw that the last time I posted a drawing was... over a month ago. I really had to try my best to fight off the artist block. Thankfully, it's working! :)
Here's a wip and some more lore for Ravy and Ava. (I missed drawing my boy Ravy and Ava!) They're friends with Halric. They met him in Lyhe Mheg and are hoping that one day, they'll meet in reality. Now some of you may be asking: "Who's Halric, again?"
Weeeell...
He's the boy that Tesleen and Alisaie were helping in Amh Araeng. To this day, I still can't rewatch this scene from ShB (If you know, you know!) in its entirety. I took this screenshot and quickly hit that skip cutscene option! I was like: "Once is enough! I don't need to see this again!"
Anyway, I had this thought: "Halric has been through a lot. Maybe, I can make a small story about him, Ravy and Ava becoming friends." And it would be cool for the pixies to give him happy dreams and take him to Lyhe Mheg." I may be the only person in the world that was thinking, Halric's the FFXIV character that would be cool to include in their characters' lore, despite not having a whole lot of screentime.
And I know we were told that Halric was showing signs of progress, so it's not all doom and gloom. But I just thought that it would be nice to see him making friends, you know, smiling more and enjoying himself a bit more, too.
That's all for now, I'm slowly starting to get back into the swing of things. Hopefully, I can get more drawings done in my spare time. Okay, see you later. :D

Putting my ffxiv character Zhai through the blender today. :) Context: she goes from being pretty much the most powerful summoner in the land to being aetherically disabled after Stormblood, having taken some grievous wounds and resorted to some pretty forbidden magics to fight Shinryu. It takes years for her to regain connection to her magic. As someone who put most of her self-worth on her skill, this does not feel great for her :) She spends much of her recovery time isolating and angry/depressed.
