I finally finished chapter 19 😭

Okay, so I was wrong; the super dark stuff is going to be in the next chapter and not this one. I had to cut it down into two chapters because it would be too long and limiting chapter length helps me get said chapters out in a more timely fashion.

I may take a little break before the next chapter, though, so it’ll probably take a while to be published. Sorry!

A new beginning.

For my lovely co-player, Zeno. A scene from our text-role-playing game in which Victor survived, managed to recover from nemesis-transformation, and, finding Zeno’s body in the ruins, took it with him:

“The next few days are spent in the deepest ARC laboratory can be found. Victor clears his head by doing what he does best: piecing Zeno’s body back together, meticulously stitching fiber by fiber, nerve by nerve, until the vitals stabilize to a more or less acceptable level. Zeno really was luckier than the original: small concentrations of the pathogen had survived and were now sustaining the host. Victor can’t wait to figure out how this happened, but for now he limits to experimenting on himself — and quite successfully; he manages to restore his hand almost completely. Will he be able to restore Zeno’s former strength in the same way?”

What i noticed about Victor's design recently is how choppy the collar edges of his vest look and realized he probably took a regular vest and just cut it with dull scissors to make it sluttier
