for like the moon chases the sun, he will chase her.   strangely poetic, isn’t it?  how fjor had once been worshipped and now he found himself 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓.  if vidar knew—  well ...  he could never know, for fjor knew what would happen if he did;  she would be torn from his hands...  leaving those too, like his maw, stained in 𝚊𝚌𝚛𝚒𝚍 𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚖𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚘𝚗 and drowning in a trembling devastation.

do i think that vidar felt threatened by fjor?  yes.  i believe he feels extremely threatened by fjor, hence what looks like thousands of years of abuse that’s just slipped by, as if it were just normal.  fjor accepts his punishments, which only displays how often he’s received them.  and vidar, is almost certainly threatened by another male presence in the household, seen as he thinks he is of some kind of right / power by being in fact, of the male gender.

fjor is a frost giant, until netflix says otherwise... he has temperamental cryokensis which once used to be all powerful & flourishing.   now days the only time it is reminiscent of those days is throughout the winter season.   it is especially at it’s weakest during the heights of summer.   he is a giant specifically of a mountain, /the mountain/ in the show.   it is safe to say that the others in his family are too, but i’m not sure? 🤔 their last name is literally a species of giant which makes their home within mountains.
