Women’s March 2019
Hello, Lovely people, this is Sharon here!
Yesterday was the annual Women's March, and we all went as a group and had a wonderful time. We were able to hear some inspiring speeches from the woman with all different backgrounds. I think that going to this march together helped us form a stronger bond and I can know to call these girls my sisters! We even started our own chant "No Trump, No KKK, Happy Birthday MLK" it was such an experience, and I felt like a true activist participating in this March. I hope that we can later go to pride or any other marches that is to come. Even with everything going on in the world and the horrifying treatment that woman go through participating in a protest like this and being able to connect with another woman from different backgrounds shows that we are moving through progress. There is a lot of work that needs to be done, but I know that my sisters and I are going to help be the cause of change!
