Did you know that we see about 60 images per second as fluid motion? The fun fact is the famous 24 frames per second were chosen in the 1920s because it was a trick to both save film stock, and it was also the minimum speed for sound synchronisation.
The more you know, right?
This July we decided to roll out the red carpet for stories, both original and fanfiction, that are based on movies and TV shows ever! Whether it is a popular monster like Star Wars or a niche little thing few people remember (Fright Night with Chris Sarandon, am I right?) we will be happy to see you sharing your stories in the writting challenge “Absolute cinema!”.
The rules are simple:
500 words minimum
based on a movie/TV series/TV show/anything with actors (sorry, this time no animated movies made the cut!)
any rating, ship, genre…
This is a great chance to show the audience what you like to watch and give some credit to the best (or the worst!) cinematography ever.
One might even say, it’s an offer you can’t refuse…
✍️Rules:✍️ ✔️ Write a story with a minimum of 500 words ✔️ Any fandom, any original story related to cinema, TV shows and series, sitcoms
