Genuine question, what will we do now that Woody and Buzz will become a sort of "problematic" ship?

( IDK WHY I'M POSTING THIS THE DAY BEFORE PRIDE MONTH ) ( ALSO SPOILERS )

Because if we're accepting the lore where Woody and Jessie are siblings, and Buzz and Jessie get married, that technically makes Buzz Woody's brother-in-law.

And then there's the graphic novel situation, where Woody gets attacked by the 50 Buzzes, knocked unconscious, tied up, stripped of his accessories, and dangled over a hungry pig. Meanwhile, the real Buzz is right there watching it happen. Not only does he not stop it, but he seems more invested in his rivalry with Woody than in Woody's actual safety.

And honestly, I don't care whether he apologizes afterward or not. Watching your supposed best friend get humiliated and endangered like that, then doing nothing, is still incredibly wrong.

Maybe the final movie handles it differently. Maybe there's more context. Maybe the graphic novel adaptation changed things.

But based on what we've seen so far? It's looking pretty iffy.

So, you've probably heard about the contest that's going around right now to prove who the biggest Shaun the Sheep fan in the world is. The prize is amazing-you get to be a background character in the new film! I would definitely join because I have so many ideas, but the bad news is you have to be in the UK... and I'm not.

I want to talk about one of the directors of Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom, Matthew Walker. He's the creator and director of Lloyd of the Flies, which features openly gay and lesbian couples as well as an implied trans character. He also directed THE shaunzer episode "Hot to Trotter." So,maybe we'll get more of those kinds of romantic moments between Shaun and Bitzer again 😗

These are some characters from the early production of Shaun the Sheep. Two of them, Bruce and Gloria, were created by Sylvia Bull and were shown at the Aardman Animation Exhibition.

I believe Daisy was an early design for Shaun the Sheep's girlfriend, Lola. She has two different designs-one of them kind of looks like Shaun from the episode The Dog Show, where he wears a bow on his head.

Since they said there will be new character introductions in the third movie, there might be a chance we'll see these early characters again.
