For certain reasons everything I draw or write has nothing to do with the real person SN, the characters are all fictional, and I won't talk about the actor's life or family or anything. If I put his name in tags it's because I want to make friends with people who like these characters... and technically they are SN's characters...

Why do I ship Weirizon(Event Horizon the spaceship/Dr. Weir)
In this essay I will explain why they make a reasonable and cute ship(haha get it? ship... sorry this will not happen again).
It's kinda messy because I just put down what came to my mind, sorry.
They were willing to go hell together.
Even though EH used doctor's late wife's image to get into his mind and drive him insane, isn't it weird that doctor never referred to the ship as his wife/partner/beloved? The ship stayed a spaceship in his mind after he chose to accept her offering and became ally, not a substitute for his wife or any human being. He was fully aware that EH was the spaceship he created, yet he decided to help EH, not the humans. His life was so hollow at that point that living with a hellish spaceship brings him more comfort and happiness. (or it's because the ship hypnotized him, but i'd like to think that being with EH gave doc literally blissful rapture)
The fact that doctor never called EH "my love" or anything intimate. (i know he called EH my love in the comic but the movie is the ultimate canon) However, you could tell how deeply he loves EH from his behavior. Doctor had always been an awkward person after the EH disappearing incident, he didn't get along with Lewis&Clark's crew, from the cut scenes we know that perhaps he tried several times to redeem his reputation yet failed, people had lost trust on him. And when did he genuinely smile? ONLY when he was talking about Event Horizon the beautiful miracle ship that he created or when people complimented EH. There's no doubt that no matter what happened, how much embarrassment and dishonour EH had brought to him, 7 years later he still loved EH. And they didn't actually act intimately, everyone could tell that they were intimate but doctor never touched or saw EH sensually, neither did EH itself.
We could never understand or imagine what was in EH's mind or does it have a mind that could be understood by human logic, but it can't be denied that... EH viewed(metaphorically) doctor as a special being. EH didn't hide its murder attempt towards the crew, but when it came to doctor it manipulated his mind in a luring/convincing/confusing way instead of straight up using his guilt(I'm still not over what his guilt was about but this will be discussed later) to make him commit suicide like others. At least we can say that EH cares.
EH literally said be with me forever. what was it thinking?? It's like a wedding proposal, and it said that when doctor was in its Sci-fi green tunnel near the engine which is like its heart... Wedding proposal when the human was in your heart... crazy.
Doctor saw EH as his "home". Wedding proposal again. In my opinion claiming someone as where you belong is an extremely sincere and affectionate thing to say. Also please note that after he said it, he ran to the engine and was shocked by Peters' body. He seemed still care about her, felt terrible for her death, which means the ship was not manipulating his mind and forcing him to speak when facing Captain Miller, he literally chose this phrase out if his completely free will, even though he didn't even know he could actually be with EH forever.
Doctor insisted that EH was safe even after it had driven Justin insane and destroyed Lewis&Clark at that time. He just took side with EH for no reason.
Doctor was so happy to get on EH again that I feel like if our amazing Captain Miller didn't stop him from rushing to EH's board he'd immediately got possessed and blow up the whole ship.
Before everything started doctor dreamed of EH... like destiny.
EH's everything was mysterious to others, doctor's past and illusion of his late wife was also a secret that he was not willing to tell others. Their unknowingness matches.
Doctor used she/her for the ship but he never thought her as a human being, he didn't use any other humanized pronoun on her. As we all know humans like humanizing everything they like or the stuff they're trying the understand, doctor loves EH yet he didn't do that. EH was always the beautiful spaceship in his mind.
