fictionramblings

Hi you guys! I just popped on to make an important announcement. Fictionramblings is officially on hiatus.

I have moved to a new blog. I'll still be posting about sci-fi and fantasy. I'm still pretty deep in the Avatar brainrot so expect that too lol, a lot of it.

So, if you want to keep up with any new writing or art I'm sharing, follow me @thesongofingrid, I have new things to show that I've been working on in my absence here (*cough* drawings *cough*).

side note: Left For Dead is still ongoing I'm just incredibly slow at writing and I started a new job recently.

I'm keeping this blog up because it's still important to me. It's how I met my twin flame and platonic wife, @roxynmae and I've had too much fun here with headcanons and such.

Hi anon!

I've been dealing with some stress in life outside of fandom that's impacted my creativity. I'm slowly starting to feel better now.

So quick update about the latest chapter. I'm so, so sorry for the long wait. I wanted to do Prager's pov. I tried, I just couldn't get the words out with stress all around.

Also decided that from the next chapter onwards I'm going to explore dual pov. It'll make writing a lot easier and let me explore the recoms (and other human characters) a bit more.

That said, the next chapter is from Lyle's and Miles's povs. Worth the wait, it's gonna be good. I've written about 4k words for Lyle's pov and onto Miles's pov so y'all get a nice long chapter.

Really hoping to get quicker with updates after part 2 is done (been super distracted writing smut for Lyle x Eden x Fike hehe).

Also I'm on a little hiatus with this blog, so I haven't decided yet if I'll post the chapter links here anymore. If you have an AO3, I encourage you to subscribe or bookmark the story there.

THE POINT IS

Left For Dead isn't going anywhere. I'm not abandoning it. I've been a reader who cried over abandoned stories, I would not do that to you hehe. I have almost 60-70 chapters max roughly outlined, and I'm 100% committed to finishing it. I'm just f***ing slow with writing at the moment.

I'm very sorry for the delay. 💛🥹
