My father set up a profile for me on his Mac set up so I can use it while he's away/I'm house and creature sitting.
Which is nice.
But he's set it up left handed.
Now. I AM left handed. But I am a late Gen Z/early Millenial so I grew up using computers right handed cos southpaw folk were not accommodated. So I use a mouse right handed. So I am confused and annoyed everytime I use it.

Was looking up info on the cemetery I've been walking around earlier. Found a heritage trail guide. It lists the graves of notable people buried there and has a map showing them. It also gives brief biographies of them.
The map is rubbish and blurry and there are *some* photos of the graves which are not always clear.
But it is interesting and part of the history of my city so I started looking for some this evening. I found 3.
I will need to see if I can get a better print out of the map and read through the full thing so I know what I am looking for but I am going to try and find as many as I can.
Sadly, the cemetery has not been maintained so well and some of the graves are about 150 years old so I am expecting some to have tipped or to be so weathered and covered in ivy to be unidentifiable.

Using QR codes to link things in circumstances where it would be inconvenient to laboriously type in a url by hand are all well and good, practical, I see it. But now I get emails like "Here's our event! Scan the qr code to register!" with a jpeg of a flyer and no url in the email or on the image. Oh you want me to...hold up my phone to a computer screen to scan a jpeg email attachment to get to a website? Instead of you just linking it to me, in the email you have already sent me, that I am already looking at on my computer? That's what you want me to do? Are you sure?
Worse: Our menu can be found at this QR code! We don't have printed menus anymore.
Even worse: post surgery care instructions can be found at this QR code! We don't provide printouts to patients anymore 🙃

The fact that most people I know use their phones to read their email and do not access it on any sort of computer at all means they are not physically able to scan the QR code because it is on their phone screen. So it renders the QR code totally useless.
It is also excludes anyone who does not have a smart phone, which is a larger part of the population than folk realise.
