oggi sento il freddo di quei giorni che ti si appiccicano addosso, e che restano li per sempre. il freddo che ti entra nella spina dorsale e non c'è mano, carezza, maglione, sorriso o canzone che possa scaldarti. ti trascini in giro con il tuo gelo planetario che scorre al posto del sangue. a volte mi piacerebbe non sentire niente. mi piacerebbe cancellare le giornate come questa. o forse quella di ieri, per non sentire lo strappo.

there's a suggestion that rape & consent should be taught to 11 year olds

"kids aren’t having sex at 11 years old!" a white, middle aged woman just said on the news. yes they are. i remember being 11 years old, and trust me, there was pressure even that young. i remember boys 3 years older going out with girls my age and yes, they did have sex with them. so they should learn them the importance of consent and what rape is. 40 year old white, middle class people live in safe little bubbles where they can’t imagine their kids giving their first blowjob at 11 but it happens and they need to be taught that no means no

also consent isn’t just limited to sex. it can apply to being touched in ANY way. so all kids should learn that when someone says no, they mean no. because even if they aren’t having sex yet, if they learn it at a young enough age then it will be easier to teach them to apply that concept to sex when they’re older

i agree, kids are capable of understanding it and it should be brought to their attention. when i was 11 i was taught about contraception, but i wasn’t taught anything about consent. how does that add up? we’ll use slogans like “don’t be silly wrap your willy” but we’ll leave out the “don’t be silly stop sending dick pics to girls just because you’re horny.”
