I still can’t believe we got THIS!!

Gilbert’s eyes instantly soften gazing at Anne just like all the other times but this time is different she doesn’t walk away or “put her foot in it” the way he so tentatively placing his hand on her cheek as if he can’t believe the girl he’s admired for years could have feelings for him..

The first kiss is so beautiful it’s so gentle and tender, as a first kiss should be the scene itself is so beautiful, the background, Anne’s gorgeous red hair half up half down in her beautiful blue dress it’s just so perfect.

When Gilbert asked “do you truly have feelings for me?!” Its so underrated, even after he kissed her he’s still so vulnerable being so unsure of himself that Anne the girl he’s in love with could be his. But once she kisses him, he pulls her in as close as possible with a sudden rush of desire not wanting to let her go.

But again it’s the tender moments that got me when Anne says “so goodbye” the way again so softly he kisses her knuckles, it’s one of the most romantic things someone can do. Anne and Gilbert don’t say anything but their expressions are just full of love for one another.

When Gilbert is about to leave in the carriage he looks again at Anne and before he can leave he has the urge to kiss her again unable to keep the smile of his face, just another kiss, one of many.

It’s one of the most beautiful, romantic and healthy teen love stories I’ve seen on tv for a long time and a huge shoutout to Amy and Lucas for their acting for being so young its outstanding. Everything about this show is so beautiful, I’m never letting them go.
