I find it really funny that whenever people suggest more obscure characters to put in mario kart, they suggest people like fawful or dimentio or reclusa and im like.
dude these are some of the most evil people in the mario series theyre literally all war criminals. I can do, like, peasley or geno or vivian but the "kart racing with bowser as a friendly competition" excuse does not apply here. I love these characters too but they cannot go kart racing im sorry

This powerhouse.
This is Keiichi Yano. He's worked on some of the best story-driven rhythm games out there, such as Gitaroo Man, Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan (and its sequel), and Elite Beat Agents. The stories he's made are surprisingly poignant, and the styles of gameplay he's invented are very well thought out. I think he'd have a lot to offer for a game like Beatspell.
