Greetings everyone! I’m sorry to announce this, but I’ve decided not to continue on with this roleplay at this point in time. Its my child and I love it more than anything I’ve ever created, but interest has been very small and it doesn’t seem like we’re going to get more applications at this point in time. While I would have been okay with running a small group, it seems like it would do the roleplay a disservice and that it deserves to be run in a time where it can get the love and attention that I feel it deserves

On top of this, life is very stressful at the moment, and with everything else going on I don’t think I have the time, mental energy and emotional energy that would be necessary to see this through to the best of my ability. 

I hope to reboot this later, when people will have more time to join roleplays in general, and when I can put even more time and love into it. When that day comes, I hope the people who were interested this time around will come back to us!

are the genders of skeletons set in stone, or are we allowed to change them and portray more lgbt+ relationships???

As stated on all the skeletons, the gender of every skeleton is to be decided by the player. That means that none of the characters have pre-designated genders and every relationship has the potential to be LGBT depending on how the players feel!

She isn’t exactly what I would expect for the Recluse, but I don’t see anything wrong with her so if you like her, and with a good application, I don’t see any reason why not!

Hi. I apologize if this is a little rude but how many applications do you think you need to definitely open the group? I don't mind waiting but I just wanted to check.

Don’t worry at all about being rude! To be honest, I’m happy to open the group with a low number of applications. Ideally, I’d like to get at least three or four more before Saturday, but as long as we have 3+ that I’m happy with, I’d definitely go forward with acceptances and open the group so that we can grow as we move on.

For other groups, I might say the number has to be higher, but I truly love this group and the world I’ve created with all of my heart, and I just want to play in it so badly! If we have under ten characters when we open, I may play around with the first event a bit to save the Ball event for when our numbers are a little bigger, but we’ll see! 

As of now, acceptances are still going forward on Saturday, with an official opening for play being in the next one or two days after that. If on Saturday I don’t feel like things are where I want them to be, I’ll probably push the date back one week, but that would be as far as I go. If the group starts off small, I’ll be just as happy with that! To be honest, I don’t see myself having to do that as I know many of you lovely people are working on apps that I’m excited to see. 

TLDR; This group is definitely going to open, even with a small number of apps, within the next two weeks. I love it too much to wait much longer, and I think it has potential to grow. I’m dedicated to making it the best and most fun place imaginable, and theres no reason that can’t happen if the group starts off on the smaller side!

Of course, anon! That’s no bother at all! Some names I think would suit The Damsel are: Margo, Helena, Catherine, Natalia, Cordelia, Alina, Xenia, Michael, Aaron, Lyra, or Morgan. Those just came off the top of my head, so if you don’t like them feel free to ask for more!
