     it’s been a few years of this, now - sneaking out at the first sign of sunlight in the morning, buying as many pastries and delicious foods as she can, and then sneaking back in without any of the animals waking Sky. she somehow managed to do it with a toddler in her arms, bribing Cooper with some strawberries from the fridge as they snuck out. 

     when they crept back in, he was babbling quietly (still learning words, while the rest was adorable and incoherent) and Izzy helped him wrap both his fists tightly around the birthday card she’d written while Sky had been out. 

     “go on, buddy, go give that to your mama. over there!” she coaxed, giving him a lift up onto the bed where Sky slept.

i was busy during the ep and only saw bits and pieces (aka i looked up when i heard izzy’s voice) so here’s some brief thoughts; 

i’m glad they at least somewhat acknowledged izzy is not okay since addiction isn’t just a thing where you can sometimes have what you’re addicted to and be fine. but like. it’s all still really weird??? and weird that it’s still kind of being portrayed as a thing that’s morally right because izzy let simon bite her for true love or whatever???????

listen i have a lot of conflicting feelings about izzy and her addiction and this entire thing with her and simon but !!!!! she’s such an amazing friend. no one deserves her she’s literally willing to ruin her whole life just for the people she cares about
