“Hell no.” Althea retorted before she drowned her shot. Her eyes fell at the other’s arm with a slight glance of disgust before she looked away in case the other would cause hell for the look; an event that happened too often for her liking. Lips quirking into a smirk, she snorted at her words. “I didn’t since I’m pretty sure that’s not what it means but clever.”

Frankie felt her face contort in both a confused and ‘WTF’ manner. She was usually better at keeping her face neutral in times like these, but she assumed the three shots she’d just had in succession were making her normal habits harder then usual. She put her arms out in surrender, “Alright, lady. I was just asking,” she said with a shrug, bringing her drink to her lips and taking a sip. “Thanks…I think?”

Ignoring the other’s expression, she waved at the bartender for another drink. “What about you? You plan on going up there?”

“What about you, you gonna get up there?” Frankie, albeit a bit of a buzz running through her, asked the person to her left with a slight nudge as she gestured to the people singing karaoke in her normal dive bar go-to Friday night Happy Hour hang. “Did you know that Karaoke in Japanese really means song of dying cats??”
