i miss the love we had for each other. well, if i’m being honest, i miss the love you had for me. the way you called me smart and pretty and respected me and told me that my nose scrunched in a cute way and all the bubbles that came from your love. your love was soft and nice and a comfort i wish i could’ve held onto.

i won’t talk about my love for you. i did enough of that, sure you’ve heard it all. and anyways, i don’t miss that- mainly because i know where it is. i haven’t lost it and if you ever asked for it back, whether today or twenty years down the road, i’d pull it out of my star covered box and wrap it up in the nicest paper for you. i never lost it.
