Plot:

The Triwizard Tournament, famous for many different reasons and only happens every so many years, it just so happens, that this year is that lucky year, 2015. However, the Tournament is a little different. The Ministry of Magic has decided to change things up, each school, Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang, is to send in four champions to represent them. Each champion has to complete in the trials set by the Ministry and by the end of the Tournament, there is to be only one winner. However, with more people, means more threats that will be placed before the champions. Things are deadlier, trials are harder and everybody is in trouble with the championship looming closer. However, the champions will strive to bring their school glory and win and show which is better. The pressure is something all twelve must face and deal with along with their studies and there is never a chance to back out because once your name is chosen from the Goblet of Fire, you are trapped. With all that’s happening, it’s a wonder how the students of these three schools will be able to handle the pressure of studies and the tournament. Yes this is a re-vamp of the inthetournamentgv. All credit obviously goes where it is due.

Ellen grew up in a predominantly muggle home in Georgia. It was a strange part of her father’s lineage. The magic never seemed to stick with the males in the family. So upon receiving her letter on her birthday her grandmother promptly arrived—first time ever by apparition—to open it and explain that she was a witch.

This new found status caused a big rift between her and her older brother Max. They’d always been very close, but he was usually the one in the spotlight with sports or whatever else. Later Ellen would come to see he couldn’t deal with being told he wasn’t able to do something. Especially something as grandiose and life changing as magic. They rekindled their relationship after her third year.

In becoming a witch Ellen had become much closer to her grandmother, Rose. From the time she opened her letter, to shopping for school supplies, to asking for homework help over the years. They would write often while she was at school. Always sending her care packages of little magic trinkets and divulging secrets she’d learned about the grounds or Hogwarts in general. Ellen would always put these to good use.

At school her warmth and kindness permeated all that she did. Which made finding her new home in Hufflepuff a happy and easy transition. She loves to spend time in the common room. Sometimes she climbs up to the window and sits up there to read and talk to her favorite potted plant—some of them talk in there ya know! If she’s not in the common room or in class you can probably find her in the astronomy tower—watching the stars and the night sky her favorite, most soothing past time. She also sneaks into the kitchens to bake from time to time. Usually for friends’ birthdays.

Her openness and warm southern charm allows her to make friends easy across all houses and creeds. However she doesn’t divulge her deepest feelings and thoughts to most. She is always true to herself and there to care for, assist and save anyone who needs it. She’s always going to stand up for what is right—wether its for herself, a friend, or enemy. She will usually not sit idly by. She is also extremely flirtatious with everyone.

things in the jones household have always been something that people would call ‘different’. growing up, both gwydion and emyr knew where their mother came from. they heard stories of how she went to the most magical school in britain, the tales of the different houses and their founders. his mother, laura, belonged to the house known as ‘hufflepuff’, and the pride that she felt for that house was always inspiring. his father, on the other hand, wasn’t nearly as interesting but that didn’t stop him from admiring him all the same. being a policeman, he was out on the streets defending their town. sure, there was the worry that he might not come home some nights, especially when there was something on the news, but things always worked out and he’d always come home safe and sound. their family was close knit, happy, and gwydion’s relationship with his brother was as strong as could be.

things, however, got strained over time. when he came of age, a letter arrived for gwydion, but not emyr. they wouldn’t be going to the same school any more, emyr would need to come up with a reason that his brother wasn’t around (probably putting it down to going to a private school). gwydion knew that it was going to be hard to only hear from his family via letters and only seeing them on holidays, but his mother assured him that it’d be an experience that he would enjoy and one that he’d thrive in.

as soon as he arrived, things seemed to fall into place. like his mother, he was sorted into hufflepuff— which, in all honesty, was the house that he wanted. he wanted to follow in his mother’s footsteps, so when he was sorted? he was happy. and, for the years to come, he remained that way. hogwarts has been a positive expierence for him, and now that he’s in his final year of education, there is a sadness washing over him. he feels sad that things are coming to an end, and he’s not even sure what he wants to be after it’s all over. things, now more than ever, seem to be moving a little too fast for him and all he wants to do is slow down and take in what he can while he still can.

although he isn’t sure what he’s going to do after school is over, the year so far has been a blast for him. with the arrival of the other schools and the tournament on it’s way, it’s brought out more house pride in him than ever before. cheering on john to succeed in his trials, gwydion is a proud hufflepuff through and through. he knows that they’ll be the ones to carry home the cup at the end of the year, and will deny anything said otherwise.

Biography/ Points

Cedric is the pride and joy of Amelia and Amos Diggory, treated like a prince ever since he was born. Though somewhat spoiled he grew into the charming young man many wished to be. Brave, loyal, and courageous, he was chosen to the be the Hogwarts Champion in 1994. Sadly this didn’t even very well with him being nearly killed and being in a coma for a long period of time.

Afterwards, his dreams of being a professional Quiddtich player and auror were destroyed with his delicate condition. As such, he became a healer but after a few years resigned to become Herbology Professor at Hogwarts. He is now head of House, tutors those who wish to become healers, and is an active Herbology enthusiasts.

Biography/ Points

Youngest child to Amos and Amelia Diggory, the girl was loved and cared for.Yet different occurrences happened and the young witch was sent away to Beauxbatons in order to coalesce with others better than she could have home. From her parents viewpoint, in France at leas she’s not being victimized for looking different than her family. The tournament being concerned, Mary is more than excited and worried to see the event unfold considering the last fiasco. Yet or thankfully even though her name wasn’t chosen, she still supporting her school wholeheartedly. This will be the year Beauxbatons wins.

Personality-wise, Mary Diggory is a very active, sporty girl but still is very meek and humble in nature. With a habit of getting lost, she tends to be alone with the company of animals or the environment. Even though she is mostly known for her Environmental views, she bonds well with people, to the point many are surprised with her chatty self.

Short Biography:

Until coming to Hogwarts, Hayden attended a private school in Wales for “gifted” children, most of whom were at least Half-Bloods. Though her father left when she was seven, her mother brought home the bacon so she could afford to go there anyways. Her mother remarried three years later and she has a good relationship with her step-father.

The Sorting Hat took its sweet time placing her in a House, but ended up announcing Hufflepuff, though Hayden wondered about its certainty. She made friends easily and excelled in many classes, but struggled with more “practical” subjects. Throughout school she earned a reputation for having a good time and sleeping around, but the truth was Hayden just kept falling for the wrong guys, an ailment she has since been trying to cure herself of.

Astronomy was always her favorite subject, and when she was advised to become a teacher she interviewed with the headmaster 3 years after graduating and was ecstatic to become a TA for the aging Astronomy teacher, then took over once she decided to retire. She spent the first year in between graduation and work looking for her birth father and trying to reconnect with him.

Short Biography:

William Bathory, born to Hugh and Isabel Bathory, a Ministry official and an Auror, respectively, has always had an inherent curiosity of certain things he shouldn’t. Muggles, magical creatures and the inside workings of anything electronic.

He found himself an infamous hatstall in his first year—trapped between Slytherin and Hufflepuff, of all houses. Eventually, the desire to please his parents and achieve something landed him in Slytherin, where to this day he doesn’t quite feel he belongs.

Though his parents, and many others, do not see him as ambitious, it is only because he strives in directions they do not wish to pay attention to. He’s taken to shutting himself off from his housemates, and often pushing those away that would get close to him for fear of their rejection.

He put most of his time into his studies, veering more into things such as Care of Magical Creatures and Herbology, much to his parents’ distaste. He does play quidditch, which he finds to be enjoyable most of the time and a good way to not completely lose himself to schoolwork. His ambition in Transfiguration—clashing with his love for animals, eventually led to him learning how to morph himself into an animal, which he continues to practice and get better at.

He sees the Tournament as a distraction but is invested as one of his few acquaintances happens to be a Champion. He won’t admit it but a lot about it worries him.

kara was born into the pure blooded zorel family, but after being made an orphan by wholly natural means, she found her way into the muggle foster system. she always knew there was something different about her, and there were memories she couldn’t quite explain. almost everything clicked into place with her letter. almost. she didnt find her way home until well into her fourth year, when she found her cousin. it took some negotiating, but now she lives with him when she’s not at hogwarts.

it should have been no surprise she was put in ravenclaw if you looked at kara’s lifetime of grades and test scores.

Personal

Nik has always known he isn’t Mikael’s son. Mikael died when he was still a kid, he doesn’t really remember him. He was raised by Elijah and he adores his big brother.

Nik was devastated when he was sorted into Gryffindor, but he quickly felt at home there.

Nik is a born werewolf. His wolfish nature is one of the reasons he can be incredibly scatterbrained at times. He doesn’t trust easily, but once you’ve managed to get on his good side, he’s loyal to the end.

He can be grumpy at times, but chances are he’ll have forgotten what he was angry about by the time you meet him again.

Nik has the tendency to run off when his wolf takes over. He usually looks for a quiet corner where he’s alone to calm down and get himself under control. (He has potions that help him with it.)

Nik hates quidditch.

Plot:

The Triwizard Tournament, famous for many different reasons and only happens every so many years, it just so happens, that this year is that lucky year, 2015. However, the Tournament is a little different. The Ministry of Magic has decided to change things up, each school, Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang, is to send in four champions to represent them. Each champion has to complete in the trials set by the Ministry and by the end of the Tournament, there is to be only one winner. However, with more people, means more threats that will be placed before the champions. Things are deadlier, trials are harder and everybody is in trouble with the championship looming closer. However, the champions will strive to bring their school glory and win and show which is better. The pressure is something all twelve must face and deal with along with their studies and there is never a chance to back out because once your name is chosen from the Goblet of Fire, you are trapped. With all that’s happening, it’s a wonder how the students of these three schools will be able to handle the pressure of studies and the tournament. Yes this is a re-vamp of the inthetournamentgv. All credit obviously goes where it is due.

Biography:

Stiles grew up as an only child with his mother and father, both being a witch and a wizard. They started teaching him all sorts of things from when he was a little child, whether it were potions, herbal things, or just general trivia about the wizarding world. His mother died during a ‘terrible accident at work’, but nobody really wants to tell him what exactly happened there.

He is a student of Papillonlisse, because he wants to help others and is very passionate about this, but he can be an introvert at times as well.

If you talk to him, he will most likely be very polite and gentle, always trying to make new friends, even if that barely works for him, caused by his rather..active personality.
