What I learned since I made an account in the summer of 2024 (as with everything: blame Feyd), is that everybody is entitled to share and vent. Everybody has ideas which will be positively responded to by others.
I learned that the fandom is not just a handful of excellent writers who are entitled to make comments and posts. It is the collection of all of us - all of you. Some more active than others. Some more on elaborate stories, others more on brainrot, and some - like yours truly - like to combine everything and throw it out there.
Anyhow: I have learned that @dailydoseofaustinbutler as initiated by @slowsweetlove is a very inclusive space.
I mean... just look at the brainrot I have spilled, and I haven't received any polite comment to please fuck off...
DDOFAB is open for every Austin fan or fan of an Austin character who has something positive to share. It can be a single photo, it can be two photo's, a little thought, all the way up to a multi k word & picture collab between creators (shout out to @austinbutlerslovers and @faegoddessog - I loooooved our collabs).
You dont need to have fifty or a hundred followers. You dont need to be a 'known' or 'in the middle of the fandom' blogger. You just need to be enthusiastic and have an idea every now and then.
I reached out to a few of my favourite mutuals yesterday to see if they would be keen to join. To test the waters. And they are!!
