▌☾─     Her footsteps are soft, almost silent as she walked,              the darkness swirling close about her feet. She              pauses when she sees the figure nearby, hands              clasped behind her back as she nods her head in              a polite greeting.

                       ❝ I did not expect to see you out tonight. ❞

He doesn’t say anything. Instead, he nods and tugs the corner of his lips up in a semblance of a smile.

His eyes are focused on her.  He says nothing for a moment. When he replies, his voice is as soft as it always is. "I know. I know."

▌☾─           She stares at him quietly for a                         moment before letting out a small                         puff of breath as she nods quickly.                         "Good."

     Hera certainly didn’t. But when your son finds himself      a new hobby you must pretend to be interested. Even      if it meant rubbing elbows with mortals and watching      Gladiators fight to the death.

          Nyx was most certainly not happy about being there. It           was far too bright for her taste, and there were more           mortals around than she'd seen in years. They were not           her favorite of beings to walk among, though there were           a few she would favor.
