i’m super proud of this so imma!! post it here
"A-A model? Me?" Was this a prank? It felt like a prank. Lenora checked the library for cameras before looking back at this random young man who asked if she would help with an art project. "I-- um, I don't know. What class is this for?"
“I have to do a portrait of someone and you look like you’d be a good subject to paint! You have good proportions!” His mind was made up and now she just had to say yes! “It wouldn’t take long. Maybe a couple of afternoons?”
It was a desperate and admittedly stupid move, but at this point Lenora didn't have much of a choice! She was desperate! She sat up and stared at the back of the man currently rifling through her jewelry, unaware that the 'sleeping princess' had been awake all this time. "You're a thief, yes?" He turned to face her, startled. She climbed out of bed and approached him. "If you're planning on stealing valuable items, then you should take me as well. I am -- I am in need of a kidnapping, so --"
“What?” Was he hearing this right? “You want to be kidnapped?” What a bizarre request! Arching a brow, the thief shoves some more jewelry into his side satchel. “What makes you think that I want that? I’m not here to babysit a princess.” Shaking his head, Phoenix heads back to the window.
“Go back to bed, darling.”
It’s his birthday today time to shitpost
Lawyers fixing their trademark.
Love this a lot, I can’t wait to colour this. I just wanted to draw hands handling delicate objects.
Maya waited until Nick had sat down in his office chair behind the desk to flip the switch. She had replaced his normal chair with one of those HAWAII CHAIRS she saw an ad for online!
What a day it had been already! And it was only 1pm! Sighing, Phoenix settles in his seat and reaches for his coffee. Oh, eugh! It was cold. Ah, yeah. That was expected. It had been sitting there for two hours. “Hey, Maya, can you get me— AHHHHHHHH!”
Everything happened in the space of three seconds. The coffee mug was in the air, papers had scattered, and his body was jiggling around?! “What the hell is going on?!” He grabs the chair to try and still it. Why was it moving? (E-Earthquake?!) Somehow, he landed on his backside on the floor and banged his head off the table.
“Maya! What did you do to my chair?! Hey, quit laughing!”
Random Prompt from @fiircbird
“Oh my gosh, you must be so excited!” Maya looked absolutely thrilled! “How does it feel? Can you feel the baby wiggling around inside you yet?”
“Maya!”
“It’s okay,” Lenora laughed weakly, reassuring smile sent Phoenix’s way. “I don’t mind answering. I’m thrilled, yes, but a little nervous about the process. I’m only about four weeks along, so no major – uh, internal changes yet. I’m just extra tired and achy.” She glanced up at Phoenix as he set down the tray of food he’d fetched for the three of them and murmured her gratitude.
“Aw. Well, I’m sure everything’s going to be fine! And whenever you need a babysitter, you can definitely count on me! I took care of my cousin Pearl as a baby a lot! And you can pay me in food!”
“That’s sweet of you, Maya. I’ll keep that in mind,” Lenora giggled, while Phoenix rolled his eyes beside her. Then she moved to stand, “Ah, feel free to start without me! Just need to run to the restroom.”
“Okay!” Maya watched Lenora go, waiting until she was out of earshot. She glanced at Phoenix, who was also watching after her. Fiercely she whispered, “Nick! Did you find out anything about who her boyfriend is yet?!”
“Uh – “ Phoenix glanced up, briefly looking like a deer in the headlights. Then he shook his head, “No. Um, she hasn’t said anything.”
“Grr. I bet it was one of those strapping young detectives! We just have to figure out which one!”
Phoenix moved to take a bite out of his own burger, eyes shifting to focus on something outside. “Why do you care so much, Maya? It’s Lenora’s business.”
“We’re her friends! We have to find this guy who knocked her up and make sure he knows he has to marry her! My Aunt Morgan always said that babies born out of wedlock were cursed!”
“What?” Phoenix made a face. He hoped he would never have to meet this Aunt Morgan person. She sounded like a whackjob! “Maya, that’s not – “
“I know it’s not true, Nick, but still! We gotta look out for her!”
I am looking out for her, was what he wanted to say, but kept that to himself for now. Soon Lenora returned, and they continued their lunch as per usual. When Maya asked if she could get a chocolate ice cream cone, Phoenix handed her a five-dollar bill just to get her to leave for a few moments.
“Are you doing okay?” he murmured, lips briefly brushing Lenora’s cheek. He just couldn’t help it. She was having his kid! And he actually really, really liked her. Borderline loved. Maybe? They hadn’t been together long before this all happened!
“Mhm,” Lenora nodded, leaning into him a bit. “Thank you for looking after me.” A pause. “You can tell Maya, you know.”
“I know. And I will. She just has a big mouth sometimes, and I know you don’t want it to spread around work.”
“Yeah, that makes sense.” She sighed, settling in. Part of her felt guilty about all this; she could terminate the pregnancy and end all the stress, but she just – she couldn’t do it again. Even if it was noninvasive, she just… it frightened her. Eyes rose to look at Phoenix, who was already anxiously watching her. “You’re okay with this, right?”
They weren’t ready. It was so frightening. Yet Lenora knew, deep down, that they could manage. So long as they stuck together.
“I’m scared,” Phoenix admitted, “But I wouldn’t want this any other way, to be honest.” He glanced around before leaning in to kiss her properly. “We’re going to be okay.”
Lenora smiled and kissed him back, feeling at ease and nodding in agreement. “Yeah. We are.”
Lenora hated office politics. It was due to these politics that her new personal assistant, rather than being a qualified young adult, was some party boy from LA who was the founder's nephew. Someone who needed a job to 'straighten him out.' Sure, she got an extra 5k added to her salary for accepting him as a 'mentee', but all it did was give her a headache. As if a CEO like her needed more to worry about! "--Phoenix?" She pressed a button on her intercom. "Did you copy those papers for me?"
“Mhm-hmm.” He was bored with this already. “I’ll bring them in.” Maybe he would get something more interesting to do or maybe he could flirt his way to a half day. Or maybe into her pants. Hey, she was so hot!
“Is that all you need from me?” He made no attempt at hiding where his eyes were as they roamed what he could see of her body from behind the desk. She was only a few years older than him and, man, she could get it!
*SLAMS FIST ON TABLE* ow
"Good afternoon, Mr. Wright." Lenora hoped that the giant crush on the lawyer who showed up every-other-day for his 3PM appointment wasn't obvious. Fingers glided over the keys of her computer as she added, "You're all checked in! Please note that the doctor had an earlier appointment run long, so he's running about fifteen minutes later." He assured her that was fine and moved to sit in the corner and read a magazine as always, and she tried not to pine too obviously. (receptionist au?)
“Thanks, you’re always a huge help!” He settles in the usual seat he took. The magazine in his lap wasn’t all that interesting but pretending to read it was less awkward than staring around the room at nothing. After a few minutes, he glances up and catches the receptionist’s eye. He smiles and winks before looking back at the page.
(She’s cute.)
"I know you often worked for my father, Mr. Wright. I hope that now that he's been /removed/, you'll have no qualms about maintaining a working relationship with me." // mafia lenora @ hitman ouo
“I have no problem with that.” A job was a job and if her father had been weak enough to be taken out of the picture, then he would work for the next in line. This was the way of the world and if she had the money, then he would do whatever she asked.
“I will be at your service when you require.”
mortiiicia:
PHOENIX’S REACTION COMES AS NO SURPRISE. Though it does somewhat astonish her that he had stayed within the vicinity of the house and room as opposed to many others who have in the past, fled at the very sight of a dismembered hand still in movement. ❝ Remember our curse, Mr. Wright. Even our severed selves still hold life regardless of our original forms no longer present. ❞ There was far more to it, of course, but Morticia chooses instead to allow him in taking things in strides. Quite honestly, he was doing very well. Regarding Phoenix’s hesitation, Thing turns instead to the matriarch and snaps his fingers twice before pointing to the pile of mail he had left on the table. ❝ Thank you, Thing. ❞ Morticia states, picking up the envelopes and going through them as normal. One letter catches her attention and so she opens it by using the tip of a crimson nail. Upon reading it, her expression becomes somewhat sorrowful. ❝ Oh dear, it seems my husband won’t be joining us for dinner after all. ❞ Must be urgent for him to send a post instead of saying good-bye in person. She understood though, especially where family matters were concerned. ❝ It’s Caliban, he has requested Gomez’s presence and yours as well. ❞ Placing the note back into its envelope, she sets the others down upon the small table. ❝ No need for you to leave so abruptly though, the two of them will want to sort things out among themselves first. In the meantime, you can stay here. I will have Lurch prepare a room and drive you to the train station in the morning. ❞ By the way of tone, her insistence is palpable. The decision had already been made. ❝ You had no… dietary restrictions to speak of, correct? If that is so then I suggest we relocate ourselves into the kitchen. Follow me. ❞ The exchange is brief and while taking the letter with her, clutched in her hand like claws digging through the thin paper, she proceeds to lead the way to their next location where the smell of food could easily be acquired. ❝ Dinner seems ready. Please, take a seat. Wherever you’d like. ❞ Once they enter into the kitchen, Wednesday and Pugsley are already present at the table with each fork and knife secure within their grasps. Granny, finishing up the final touches of their meal, doesn’t look up from the cauldron as she continues to stir its contents. ❝ I do hope you’re hungry. ❞
The news of Gomez’s absence didn’t come as a surprise; Phoenix understood that he would want to hear the circumstances surrounding the case with Caliban himself. However, he was a little wary about spending the night in the house...
(She didn’t even let me turn down the offer...)
Figuring that it was best not to say anything (he was way too polite sometimes), Phoenix could only follow and hope that he survived until the morning. He wasn’t a religious man, but if he had to pray, he would.
“Uh, no, I don’t have any special requirements.” And his brain wasn’t thinking quick enough to make any up. Entering the kitchen, brows knit together in concern. That woman was most definitely cooking in a huge witch’s cauldron.
Yep. He was going to be poisoned.
Trying his best not to make a face at the rather pungent aroma that was slowly filling the kitchen, Phoenix takes a place on the side the son was on. He didn’t feel like sitting too close to the daughter after what he had witnessed in the attic. Feeling completely out of place, he says nothing as he awaits whatever atrocity was about to be served for dinner...
Honestly? She was terrified. Why would Phoenix Wright of all people take an interest in her? She knew he had broken up with Dahlia Hawthorne, but SHE certainly wasn't the reason. She took a step back and found her shoulders hitting the brick wall. She should have been flattered, as he was attractive and popular and basically ruled the school with his friends -- but something about this felt off. "W-What do you mean by 'makeover'?" // heathers au owo from the list
“I mean that you could be in with our group if you dropped the granny clothes and showed off what you have.” He looks her up and down, making it obvious that he was checking her out. “Because you have a lot to offer.” It would be a shame for her to hide it all…
“So, what do you say?” He smirks and places a hand on the wall beside her. “You want in? Think about your answer carefully because this is a one-time offer.”
"Stardust?" The Time Lady repeated, curiously glancing his way as pink tresses bounced around her shoulders. "That's a peculiar nickname. Why would you call me that?" // doctor who au owo
“Isn’t it kind of self-explanatory? It’s because you’re from the stars.” And it was a cute nickname! Although, The Doctor was probably a nickname, too, huh? There was no way that was her actual name. She hadn’t actually revealed what she was really called…
“If you don’t want me to call you that, you should tell me your real name.” Phoenix leans in and smiles. “Don’t worry, I’m good at keeping secrets. I won’t tell a soul. Human or otherwise!”
Court proceeded as normal, as though Lenora hadn't sent Phoenix a few racy photos showing she wasn't wearing underwear just a few minutes before the trial. It was not a tactic to throw the defense; she was just being a freak, and often spokea across the room to him whilst touching her professional-looking pencil skirt. Phoenix kept it together, of course, but they found themselves both in the women's bathroom during the ten minute recess--[Prosecutor]
It wasn’t fair that she had such an effect on him, but Phoenix knew that she wasn’t even doing it to gain an advantage. That was why he had tugged her along to the bathroom during their recess and had now rolled up that frustrating pencil skirt. He said that he just wanted “evidence” that she really wasn’t wearing underwear.
Yep. She wasn’t.
Of course, one thing had led to another and they were going at it so hard that the stall was rattling around them. Fuck, they were going to smell of sex and it would be obvious that they had done something, but Phoenix found it hard to care. They both needed this after the nonsense that was their current case.
She hadn't thought the stoic, grumpy assassin to be the kind of guy that would go down on a woman. He had been huffy about getting her tampons (not anymore but still), after all! And he still seemed reluctant/hesitant about being romantically involved. But when he told her to get on the bed and spread her legs tonight, he didn't move to undress himself. Instead he settled between her thighs and went to INTENSELY proving her assumption wrong. For once, she didn't mind being wrong.
His tongue worked into her folds and drove deeper with each noise that he managed to extract from her. She was such a princess in everything she did and he adored it. It meant that she got bratty from time to time and he could “punish” her for it. Sometimes he spanked her and sometimes he fucked her until she couldn’t speak Sometimes he did both at once. However, right now he wanted to try this new method. He wanted to feel her quiver around his mouth as he treated her like she deserved.
He grips the soft flesh of her thighs and thrusts his tongue, practically pulling her onto his face as she began to grind down. Such a good girl. He would make sure to pay her back for her obedient behavior later on…
