Is it wrong that I got excited about a new pen that’s exactly the same as the old one, especially as it’s older than me lol

My dad gave me his Parker 51 recently. It’s similar to yours but its a mid 60′s model that my dad bought in the 70′s brand new. Not a bad pen considering its age, use and abuse. Also, I have an original Quink ink glass case with some ink left in it. Great ink but the pen is in dire need of a new nib, still writes though.
